The problem with this song, which has a lot going for it, is it lacks a true chorus. So, it tends to be repetitive for that reason.
I think that is part of what gives this song such a haunting feeling and helps make it special
What a a Ghost but a répétion and a meditation on that once was? It doesn’t need a chorus, it’s telling a story.
Whoever this song is about didn't deserve a chorus.
