U need immense heat and pressure 100x greater then a hydraulic press and a propane torch. But I give u credit for trying cause I wondered the same thing.

You are missing so many things, first of all you need a seed diamond, you also need graphite not charcoal and you need more time, pressure and heat!

Missing two parts: heat and time. Don't know the actual specifics but I wouldn't be surprised if this press could do it given those two things were added

Yes, it is possible, but very expensive, you need to keep a temperature above 1000ºC for several weeks under heavy pressure, that's the way industrial grade artificial diamonds are made, but they aren't clear, some are, but the majority of the crystals are yellowish/brownish

You can make diamonds with a press, but it is usually a weird sphere shape press, crushing at about 1450377 PSI, and using temperatures near 1400 Celsius.

I work for a company that made systhetic diamonds. You need 30,000 tons and extremely high heat. And hydraulic pressure on 6 sides.
