- I was excited to see more of the DLC! Did you find any clues that I didn't? Also, chat distracted me a bit, and I got nervous, of I course know that it is the DLC, not the game!

the way it looks is that this happens after you save miquella from the mohgwyn palace. and maybe messmer is miquella turned mohgwynean or something. also it's implied these golden cresent signs are the traces miquella left behind, so they might be the path we take in the DLC. and finally, the tree looks messed up, which reminds me of a certain something we did to the erdtree, but who knows? it's just a theory, a GAME theory, thanks for watching.
