We are out of Des Moines. We go a lot out of state because sadly Iowa sucks for anything off-road, we can’t even legally take our can-am to any of those parks because it’s 72” wide instead of 64” wide. We end up Missouri a lot for SMORR, The LOOP, & Rush Springs Ranch. We also go to Kansas Rocks in Mapleton Kansas & Hot Springs Off-Road down In Hot Springs Arkansas. We do go out & do camping trips to Moab, UT & the San Juan Mountains of CO. Wanting to get out to other off-road parks & states for camping trips in the future. We do have a Facebook called Dirt Rock Team that you can join where we post our trips if people want to join in on
@@DirtRockTeam Iowa is such a bad state for off roading. It is nice to see some fellow Iowans getting out and getting their Jeeps dirty. 99% of the Jeepers I meet in the DSM metro area just like to drive around on paved roads. We've been to SMORR and Moab a few times. Planning to check out Kansas Rocks and possibly Hot Springs this year as well as debating on taking a trip to Drummond Island in MI or going out to CO.
@@gekicherbeeren Yes, Iowa absolutely sucks for anything off-roading. We don't even have legit dispersed camping here 😭. This is why we get out to all the places we can, while we still can. Kansas Rocks is pretty neat, it is just a smaller park when you compare it to SMORR. Hot Springs is large, so we always go down on holiday weekends. We have not been to Drummond Island yet but a few friends of ours have & they liked it. Colorado is our favorite place to go, especially out in the San Juan Mountains. We have been going out to Colorado every year since the summer of 2020.
Ultimate Adventure looks fun - we should have stuck around!
Where in Iowa are you from? I’m in Davenport and looking for places and people to go wheeling with!
