As a certified Kabal player, the best variation for him is the dash cancel, air grab, and extended hook, or a different move instead of the extended hook, but the restands are really good mid-screen
@@flockofbeans9153 Air gas has plus frames though off of jump kicks, +6-7 everytime and you make your opponent guess with strike throw. Insanely annoying unless you have a good anti air which a majority of the cast does not have. Dash cancel can be easily read and poked out of.
Idk if anybody this or not and I really left mk community for a long time but scorpion with the cheap hit augment if you do DWN LFT X amplified then do a kick where it leads to a fire kick then do the special move again to connect and if timed right you can use demon dash to extend it

I find Scorpion a tough character to play as his moves are super basic and well known amongst most players. Hard to win matches when everyone can easily punish. Maybe I have to work on my footsies

Forward 4, 2 is a good combo to start a string. It has a low and an overhead so it doesn’t matter if they are crouching or standing
