"Never use the same rock twice in a row" "Always rotate your rockwork". Proceeds to put 2 of the exact same rock, the same rotation and just as deep literally touching each other. Come on, Jonti! 🙈😂
OMG! This was EXCELLENT!!! The intros great, the builds pimping was stunning.. the comedy was ever better! And the creativity (of the build as well as the series idea) was spot on!!!
Great vid, nice idea for a series. A quick for doing terrain distribution to make the animal happy is to click the picture and the brush comes straight on, no need to open the terrain tab. So if you hover over and it says you need short grass just click on it and the brush will switch to short grass.
Geekism: 'The last thing we need to do is sort out this foliage' Me: *Makes sure I'm sitting comfortably* Honestly, amazing job. I don't know where you get your creativity from but I wish I had a bit of it!
Great intro and a great concept for "how-to's". Really enjoyed watching you help another player out with creative and exciting habitat designs. Can't wait for more episodes after the game launches next week!
I'm loving this series, your Planet Coaster vids got me subbed to this channel and now with Planet Zoo coming up the great content continues! Very excited about to finally play this Zoo iteration myself (it was as concious decision not to go for the beta)!
I believe that I've noticed that there is a rocks maximum an exhibit/habitat could have in it. I noticed that when I place a lot of rocks the % for rocks (ground texture) goes up. It's extremely slow tho, so you can have a ton of them, but there seems to be a max. lovely new video, love the new series, keep them comming :)
Im just at the shelter part. I Love this series. Watching you improve something bland helps me a lot more than watching you make from scratch. I Hope you will be doing more :D
Love this concept for a series! I have noticed that some of the animals have problems with rocks. Whenever I add them into the Nile Monitor exhibit, I get massive amounts of injuries.
Great video! I just encountered the money bug in my zoo, lol. All of a sudden, out of nowhere, I go from 3 million cash to -200+ billion. RIP my zoo haha.
Hey! I'm a gardener and tropical plant keeper by heart. I love the plants in the game. I would love to see the "swiss cheese" plant placed along a large tree, growing up the trunk. Its an aborial plant and gives you a chance to get foilage up high, just connect them in a "vine" :) 💘 your videos. And I can't wait for the game to Come out Fully!!. Oh and Halloween theame building... Like a haunted exhibit house! 🐍🍁🎃👻
There are a few times (best example is 03:54) where it looked like you basically cut a piece in half before placing it - how does that work? I know you can 'shrink' stuff by sinking it into the ground etc. but that didn't look like what was happening here? Apologies if this is a basic and obvious PlanZoo question, I didn't get a chance to play the beta but I've played a decent amount of PlanCo and all the decoration tools look the same!
i absolutely love this, keep it up! ( you should do one for buildings as well!!! im having so much trouble trying to navigate the 'Indian Theme' and trying to make it aesthetic a video will be great :D )
I had to make this comment immediately, before even watching the rest of the video. Less than 30 seconds in to the video I knew instantly that I'm going to love this series purely from the statement that this habitat is "so green and flat, I'm surprised old men aren't throwing bowls at it". After the initial hype of planet zoo dies down a little after it's released, I hope this is something you'll consider transferring over to planet coaster (or even any other creative game)
Just came back and watched this, what a brilliant idea and a great little series this was! Any more, d'you think? Or are all the geekism viewers too savvy about their PZ habitats now?? (Maybe resurrect it for PK once it's out?!) :-)
I paid for beta, so I can watch you play it. . . It's seriously more entertaining, since I am such a shitty builder, but hey, I think I am definitelz learning loads, so I might well prepared for next week!
"Never use the same rock twice in a row" "Always rotate your rockwork". Proceeds to put 2 of the exact same rock, the same rotation and just as deep literally touching each other. Come on, Jonti! 🙈😂
Do as I SAY, not as I DO
The point of rules in creativity is knowing when and how to break them ;)
@@Valdore66 Erm, yeah... that :D
Came here to make this comment, wasn’t disappointed😂
That intro is the best!😎
Ha! I spent FAR to long making it, but I think it turned out well!
It turned out amazing!!!! The wheelz on the tortoise!!!
@@Geekism 100% worth it
I play the sims 4 and would die for this level of customization.. definitely so excited to build things in this game!
@Rach we had to wait like 4 years to get em too and it's no where near planet zoo's
"And a shelter that looks like a reject from IKEA" I am dying.
OMG! This was EXCELLENT!!! The intros great, the builds pimping was stunning.. the comedy was ever better! And the creativity (of the build as well as the series idea) was spot on!!!
Hey thanks Joshua, really glad you enjoyed it :D
Omg this was such a good idea....thank you for making this a series thing lol 😁😁
Thanks Kayla! Glad you're enjoying it :D
“Never use the same rock twice in a row” *immediately uses the same rock twice in a row* 😂
Great vid, nice idea for a series.

I love this type of series as it doesn't just help the person who submitted the habitat but also all of us who could use some new ideas!
Never normally comment/ like, but that intro got me. Brilliant thanks for the laugh.
The intro and music really did it for me 😂. I love this series already!
Hehe, thanks!

Thanks! Yeah, tbh if it wasn't for TH-cam I'd be quite happy waiting for release too, but gotta get that algorythm churning! :D
That made such a big difference...looks amazing.
haha, oh my lord
that intro!
11/10
Yessss! I love this! I feel like this needs to be a weekly thing when the full game comes out!
Now this was a creative idea for a series. Love the work that went into the intro.
Definitely gonna use this series as inspiration
Yeah! That's exactly what it's for :D
I’m literally going to subscribe just for the amazing Planet Zoo habitats!!!
I believe that I've noticed that there is a rocks maximum an exhibit/habitat could have in it. I noticed that when I place a lot of rocks the % for rocks (ground texture) goes up. The intro was FIRE!
Love that intro, tortoise got them sweet rims 😂
The music for the time lapse works so well. I love it! Can't wait to see what habitat you will pimp up next. Great work Jonti!
I’m loving this series! Your comments at the start of each one are absolutely hilarious 😂😂😂
Awesome idea, lovely habitat. The only thing missing is a friend.
Im just at the shelter part. I Love this series. Watching you improve something bland helps me a lot more than watching you make from scratch. I Hope you will be doing more :D
Everything looks fantastic! You might remember me from some your videos because I am a HUGE fan keep up the good work!
This is a GREAT title for a series!
Such a great idea! I look forward to seeing more exhibits spruced up.
I love how absolutely extra that intro is, and I am here for it 🙌🏻🙌🏻🙌🏻
Nicely done, added a lot more atmosphere to to enclosure.
That is the best Intro ever Jonti - Can't wait to see what is next! Always love your tutorials.
DUUUUUUDE!!!! That intro made me laugh soooo hard. Good old days. Love it.
Love this concept for a series! I have noticed that some of the animals have problems with rocks. Whenever I add them into the Nile Monitor exhibit, I get massive amounts of injuries.
Honestly love this idea for a series and can’t wait to see some crazy changes in these exhibits!
that intro alone is worth the thumbs up :D
Love the idea of this series! Amazing intro!
What the hell am I actually watching, I love it
HAHA!
Wow this is a series I never knew I needed. Please keep doing this when the full game comes out
Excellent idea. Thoroughly enjoyable.
What an amazing format. please PLEASE start all of them with a joke or pun. Actually choked on my food.
Love this! Always fun watching your videos ^-^ getting me pumped for launch
This is amazing. I need this series all the time and after the full release
This is so much fun to watch! Brilliant idea!
Yes!!! The funky build music is back!!!!
Love this idea for a series! So much fun :)
Probably the best intro on TH-cam
this was HILARIOUS! PLEASE MAKE THIS A SERIES!
When you said “if this this turtles I would turn my self into turtle soup” I died laughing
This is such a good idea!! I would love to see more!!
More coming! :D
That intro was awesome!
I am so looking forward to this series!!
That looks great! Really enjoyed watching this.
This is gonna be a great series!!!!!! :) I'm looking forward to it :)

That intro was beautiful, thank you 😂💫
Love this series idea, like HGTV Fixer Uppers for PZ!!! Can I send you my whole zoo??? LOL
I had to make this comment immediately, before even watching the rest of the video. *You are a God*
great intro lol, great series idea!
At 5:08 you cut that Element exactly to the right length. How does that work? Which key do i have to press?
This is my favouritr series you've uploaded based on the intro alone 🐢
Great work Jonti
There you are! Haven't seen your name pop up for ages... thought you'd fell out with me :P
What a great new thing!!! Love this idea.
I think buildings CAN come with habitats. Looks like you have to make sure you click on the habitat walls, then go straight to the construction tab.
Don't know if you know this but you can use the ] and [ to change the size of brushes easily. :)
I love this idea!! Excited to see more
Your a pretty good remodeler. Looks awesome
Great idea for a series!
Great idea geekism! 👍
Just came back and watched this, what a brilliant idea and a great little series this was! Any more, d'you think? Or are all the geekism viewers too savvy about their PZ habitats now?? (Maybe resurrect it for PK once it's out?!) :-)
The MOST extra turtle house in history. XD
not even in the sims my houses are this cute
We need more of this! 😆😆😆
Great 👍Love It. Greetings from Germany
This is the Grand Designs of Planet Zoo lol
Awesome video!!!
Thank you!
@@Geekism your welcome :)
Around my water features I tend to use Lobster claws with an elephant ear base to fill it out a little bit, don't know if that's just me though.
Sounds like a good combo!
@@Geekism You should try it yourself some time.
This is a brilliant idea
Thanks!
i hope youll continue doing this when the game launches in nov!!!
subbed...im so hyped for this game
Thanks! Welcome :)
I paid for beta, so I can watch you play it. . . It's seriously more entertaining, since I am such a shitty builder, but hey, I think I am definitelz learning loads, so I might well prepared for next week!
Great video, such a good idea, loving the intro as well! I actually made a habitat for you, I hope it’s okay.
That intro tho 🔥
Glorious Intro!
Hehe, thanks :D
That intro LMAO great job on that, man. Also, are you trained in design or architecture?? Or do you just have a suberb natural eye for it!?
Was it just me or was any one else just smiling away on that intro 😄
Love this idea
When full game is released you should also do rate my habitat
Bob Ross of Habitats ^^
@James Turner should watch it!
Can u just pimp out my zoo please? Every habitat looks like the original tortoise enclosure XD
Hi! Love your channel!
Thanks Karen!
This is so entertaining
