Oh, dang it! This is the second company that has discontinued it. Thanks for letting me know! I think this might be a good substitute: shorturl.at/lFPX1
@@TheScrapologist Thanks. I just checked this out but unfortunately being in Canada, the shipping is too expensive. But thanks for following through. Your video encouraged me to source out what Canada has to offer.
Oh, they've discontinued that paper, too! Thank you for letting me know! The closest I can find is this - but I've never purchased it, so I'm not sure. But it is the correct weight for the signatures. www.frenchpaper.com/collections/paper-text/products/natural-paper-speckletone-text?variant=39835533246643
You are so welcome, Creative Studio! The "more expensive" items I sell are junk journals, handmade books and mini albums like this one: www.etsy.com/TheScrapologist/listing/568121715 So I have items that range from $4 up to $200.
wow!! making 50 at once would be a lot! but since they are quite simple, getting into a groove would be easy(ish lol), i'd imagine. these are definitely a great craft fair idea and mass production item. thanks for sharing your process!
Hi, Britany! Yes, making 50 is a lot, but definitely do-able in one day, which is nice if it is crunch time and you need more product. Thanks for watching and commenting! I subscribed back to your channel! :)
@@ireneharrison7630 Great idea, Irene! This really would make a lovely gift. I'm glad people other than those who do craft fairs can enjoy the video, too!!
Cindy...learned a lot from you today. I've just been making things & experimenting, but I haven't taken that big leap to selling anything. I'm not sure when I'll be ready. Do you remember what it was for you?
That's a great question, Lisa. It was mostly from the encouragement of friends and family who said, "hey, you should sell these - these are beautiful!" So I just started with one mini album on Etsy. When it sold, I would make another, and it grew from there. Find what you are passionate about and give it a try! You only need one listing to start an Etsy shop.
Wallpaper makes a great cover
Good helperdoing the folding would be nice to have plus save time on larger quantities
Thank you so much for the ideas and the breakdown of steps! I struggle with the lower priced items.
You are so welcome! Yes, I struggle with the lower-priced items, too. Do you sell at craft fairs?
What handmade items are selling for under&10???at craft fairs in your area
fyi The company no longer sells the Durotone Newsprint aged paper. I checked with them today. Too bad. You did a great job researching.

Is kit sold anywhere else?
Do you have a different link to the paper? The one you added sends me to an article about cards and South Korea haha. 😂

@@TheScrapologist Aw thank you!

Thank you! Great ideas! I made 24 production style that I finished last week. I could have used these ideas!
Yayy! Are you gearing up for a craft fair?
@@TheScrapologist no, for the girls in a Bible study group I lead. ❤️
@@fyrtalker Oh how sweet of you! I'm sure they'll love them.
Why do you sew the binding rather than a hand pamphlet stitch?
It's much quicker than hand sewing. I can crank way more of these out. And it is a sturdier stitch.
@@TheScrapologist great! Thank you!
Who is this? The voice sounds familiar.
