Juliet Otieno of Pangani Girls emerges top in 2018 KCSE

  • Juliet Otieno of Pangani Girls High School emerged top in the 2018 Kenya Certificate of Secondary Education. Juliet scored an A plain of 87.644 points followed by Kaluna James of Maseno High School who scored 87.394 points. Edwin Otieno Ouko of Light Academy came in third with 87.363 points. The 2018 KCSE exams registered an improved performance with 315 students attaining a mean grade of A compared to 142 in 2017. Education Cabinet Secretary Amina Mohamed has attributed the improvement in performance to the robust reforms introduced in the Ministry to help uphold the integrity of examinations.
