I just love the tradition. Not too many schools keep their classic look anymore. As a child of the 60s, I fell in love with the helmets of the Bama, SC, LSU, Michigan, Clemson, OU, GA. And it seemed like every high school in America tried to imitate those looks. These days it's hard to figure out who is playing. Some of these teams don't even have respect for their school's colors. For example, Oregon.

Maybe I’m the only one but for games with their white away uni’s, it would be neat if they would bring back the white helmets for those games.. then again if it aint broke, don’t fix it?

@@Bryan-L no no no it is supposed to be decided on the field let me ask you a question have you ever played football with an actual team to try and win something because if you had you would know that when you do and do as great as you can then someone decides if you deserve to play for a national championship and those people that decide it haven't played one down of football and that simply just not acceptable

I’ve been a Tide fan since 1962 and an alumnus since 1971. I’ve always loved the crimson helmets but never liked the white helmets. Roll Tide!
