Really hope to see videos from you tearing these down to see how they work and what all has changed and what all can be replaced with off the shelf parts if need be.
I thought that single piece barrel/muzzle device seemed dumb at first until he explained the benefits of it and now I realize that is an amazing idea!!!
I like this guy, he knows what he’s talking about rather than just flappin his gums. Definitely gonna need another lower for a folding stock setup from him
I'd love to take a Fighting Rifle class with that Mike-47 rifle, I'm looking for an AK that I can trust that is in stock and doesn't cost as much as an Arsenal.
The KeyMo end he mentioned on the one piece barrel is exactly that for dead air suppressors. I believe it is also compatible with certain SilencerCo connections.
He explained the connection between the barrel and upper receiver is done through heat expansion, no barrel nut required. Heat the upper and slide the barrel in, let it cool and contract....there you go
I've always wanted someone to succeed with a one piece barrel. You lost me with the oversized extension though. I'm assuming that means we can't use a mil spec upper reciever?
Wonder how the barrel nut will get around the keymo and the gas block when installing on an upper. Guess theyll have theyre own proprietary handguard or barrel nut that works with this single piece barrel. Cool concept though!
That was my thinking as well. I have tons of replacement parts that I can get pretty much anywhere for standard ARs. Plus, what if I want something other than dead air? Im forced to use suppressors that mount to those types mounts which just takes away from the customization aspect.
Has that new built in gas block been tested? The bent gas tube seems like a trap for carbon. If the gas block came up higher the tube could just remain straight.
Nothing new about monolithic construction. It adds a lot of unnecessary weight. Stainless Steel heats up pretty quick. BCG's fail before gas blocks. Your Ranch Rifle was produced by Kel-Tec 20 years ago.
Thank you for the kind words Neal.
I’m sure they were earned. Thankful for what you’re doing to contribute to keeping Americans armed.
@schooloftheamericanrifle this is why I put FTM on the list of rifles for exam.
Chad spreading the knowledge
Hey there's the guy that pokes every hole on an AR.
Really hope to see videos from you tearing these down to see how they work and what all has changed and what all can be replaced with off the shelf parts if need be.
This is some of the most innovative stuff I've seen in years.
I thought that single piece barrel/muzzle device seemed dumb at first until he explained the benefits of it and now I realize that is an amazing idea!!!
It's as if they got all the benefits of additive manufacturing without the drawbacks with that idea.
I like this guy, he knows what he’s talking about rather than just flappin his gums. Definitely gonna need another lower for a folding stock setup from him
Damn Shot show 2024 is Lit!! 🔥
That AK hybrid looks cool
Loving the Alumni representation!
That in Huxwrks would be 🔥🔥🔥
This is true innovation! Seriously, this is awesome to see!
Great stuff. Bufferless is the future.
What's up Neal! That barrel is insane! Can't wait to get my hands on that Mike 47!
I'd love to take a Fighting Rifle class with that Mike-47 rifle, I'm looking for an AK that I can trust that is in stock and doesn't cost as much as an Arsenal.
Great review for very nice products. Like that AK hybrid. Thanks for making this stand out from the rest.
Now this is some engineering. very cool to see a company driven by practical innovation and feedback
Sweet!
Found my next rifle
He sounds like a great guy. Know how invent useful stuffs and explain it so easily.
Id like one with just thread's!! Cool!
Awesome job
Just a casual Josh Barnett sighting.
neal is the man. that ranch rifle is bad ass, and i can’t believe nobody has done monolithic barrel before !
Nice really nice
Excellent!
I'm intrigued... but imma gonna take a fighting rifle class BEFORE I start writing a check!
Sir. Will the One Piece Barrel be Use in the AR .45acp? Also have Foxtrot Mike of a quick connect for a Silencer attachment? Now that be awesome.
The KeyMo end he mentioned on the one piece barrel is exactly that for dead air suppressors. I believe it is also compatible with certain SilencerCo connections.
Will they be offering a version of that barrel with a flash hider?
Yes they have a couple designs
Met them at shot great company! Great interview
Great job Neal, I’m super proud of you!
very nice
I've got plenty of ammo leftover from loaning the Midwest AK for fighting rifle, might have to sign up again to run this bad boy.
Awesome. You da man Neal!
How do you get a barrel nut over the muzzle device and gas block?
He explained the connection between the barrel and upper receiver is done through heat expansion, no barrel nut required. Heat the upper and slide the barrel in, let it cool and contract....there you go
You can get a barrel nut I’ve the gas port
@@zerohero6602 do you have the slightest understanding of the pressures involved when a 5.56 round explodes inside of a chamber?
@@joesavoca5959the bolt holds the pressure. You can fire an AR with a loose barrel nut, it just keeps everything together on the upper.
@@ArclightZRO if no barrel nut, no handguard options. Just doesn't seem logical to me.
I've always wanted someone to succeed with a one piece barrel. You lost me with the oversized extension though. I'm assuming that means we can't use a mil spec upper reciever?
Their barrels are proprietary in design and the new one seems to be as well as a press fit.
Soooo the barrel can be sold in states that don't allow threaded barrels? Fuck, I hate Washington.
They have unthreaded options
It sucks that so many manufacturers are embracing 7.62x39 AFTER the prices skyrocketed.
this gun has been getting refined over the last few years. Foxtrot tests their stuff hard and dresses issues found before releasing
Time to start making ammo! Fill the gap!
Really interesting barrel .Certainly not a leggo barrel assembly.
👍👍👍
👏👏👏
what about key micro?
Where did you get that OP hat?!
I like this guy
You guys are doing great. Miss James tho…the world is a safer place with strong men like him in it🤙🏴🦍
I want that Mike 47!
Hope you like the parts he designed in to the monolithic upper cause you ain’t swapping them out for something else. Bad idea.
Ppl sleeping on Foxtrot Mike.
Very cool stuff they're doing but too many proprietary parts
What stock that is on the 7.62x39 rifle?
Great barrel idea! 🎉
Put an 870 birdhead grip on a 300blk shorty ranch. Why? Just because you can.
Wonder how the barrel nut will get around the keymo and the gas block when installing on an upper. Guess theyll have theyre own proprietary handguard or barrel nut that works with this single piece barrel. Cool concept though!
Will it need a barrel nut in that kind of press fit?
@@T0tenkampf ah so you need a hydraulic press to install your barrel like an AK?
Its so rare to see a shotshow product person actually sound interesting
Prego mescuzi el badasso
Well maybe I DO want an “AK”. Hmmmmm...
yes you do
That is bas ass!! High speed / low drag!!
It's really cool except for keymo 😂
It's like they are wearing the man's corpse...
Ohh no. More proprietary parts. Hmm. Hope that works out for them in the long run.
That was my thinking as well. I have tons of replacement parts that I can get pretty much anywhere for standard ARs. Plus, what if I want something other than dead air? Im forced to use suppressors that mount to those types mounts which just takes away from the customization aspect.
@@richardmann4006 It appears that they only intend it to be used in place of
As someone who puts superlative arms pistons on everything, this is cool but not my taste.
Has that new built in gas block been tested? The bent gas tube seems like a trap for carbon. If the gas block came up higher the tube could just remain straight.
It’s going to be so high pressured at the 45 I’m not even worried about it.
That 45 transition will probably be cleaner than the abrupt 90 found in normal gas blocks, much less turbulent
Great idea, but the gas piston system is the better solution.
Nothing new about monolithic construction. It adds a lot of unnecessary weight. Stainless Steel heats up pretty quick. BCG's fail before gas blocks. Your Ranch Rifle was produced by Kel-Tec 20 years ago.
Got my ranch Rifle not too long ago and it’s the tits. Literally am in love with it. Super cool range piece and conversation starter lol
Needs a adjustsble gas block
nah
Are they only doing the Keymo interface? Any plans for other QD muzzle interfaces on their single piece barrel?
Keymo is compatible with a type of SilencerCo interface if my research is correct.
Please make a lefty eject piston upper so i can finally make myaelf a bullpup
HM defense did this years ago yeah? Not exactly the same but same idea.
Rest in Peace James. We miss you!
