I like this Scottish guy and the laid back way he does a product demo. There's no anxiety to please, or grab your interest, and he just gets sensibly on with it.
All that makes his review very credible.

I am in America. I love your soft deep voice and accent. It’s very pleasant. I love the way you were able to describe the differences in the teas and your visuals were really great. I learned a lot more from your presentation than the other ones I watched on TH-cam.😢

    👍🏼 Sehr gutes Video.
👍🏽 Very good video. I like. A german girl. In Germany the name of this is sage.

Question for you is there much difference between this one on a compact version to be quite frank it’s literally only going to be for me and I don’t think I need one that can make 6 cups of tea in one go.
Also if I choose to go with this particular model what’s the smallest amount of tea you can make in it

500 ml is the smallest amount of tea you can make in it, which does not fills two mugs so I prefere brewing 750 ml to have two mugs when drinking alone.

That is a lot of money for a glorified kettle. i am not a big tea drinker, but i have a teapot and a tea strainer, i can buy decent tea from a local shop or buy it online and I think it would taste the same done in a teapot or the sage kettle. A VonShef variable temperature kettle is £30.
The Sage one is nice, but a bit on the expensive side, just because it has a basket that can rise and lower automatically, i am also not sure about keeping tea hot for 30 mins, it changes the taste.
    Good video by the way.

Thanks for the feedback 😁. For me the cost is justified by the convenience as it's a set and forget machine and removes all the variables. It will undoubtedly give similar results to a strainer in a pot however this keeps the water at the brewing temperature throughout the brewing process so it will not cool down while brewing like a teapot would.
The keep warm keeps it about 60c I think with the basket removed so it doesn't alter the taste at all in my opinion, if it kept it higher then I think it would probably affect the taste

Teabags v loose tea. Loose tea wins.
