At around 5am on October 9th a stolen car hit 7100 at a high rate of speed causing it to careen into 7303 at the intersection of Bathurst and Eglinton.
WOW pray and hope both buses can be repaired. These repair shops can work miracles now. Here in BALTIMORE CITY (USA) they had a brand new NOVA that drove off a highway bridge and landed on it's side. I was messed up but it was repaired and maybe a year later put back into service
Something in the community is having a rise of New Buses getting into Accidents, a LFS down here in Baltimore just a few days ago got into a accident the day before it entered service (2024 LFS).
@@905.AbubakkarI’m not sure, it’s new bus most probably gets repaired and replace the area with burnt with new or retired in-fact since you mentioned the bus has insurance probably the they will buy a another Hybrid Nova to replace this bus.

The fact 7100 is the first LFS HEV is wild.
3400 from 2018 is the first lfs hev, the first of this batch is 7000 from 2023

Well you can blame the suspect that stole Honda and managed to hit 7100 over 110KM miles before making 7100 crash head on with 7303

I hope that everyone involved in the crash survived, but all three vehicles appear to have been heavily damaged.

Most probably Nova will get retired
TTC has to evaluate it first. Hearing from a source that it will be a long while until 7100 returns to service.

The TTC is not insured with any company. The TTC is it's own insurance company with in. Hopefully they will go after his insurance
