Thank you Marvin for the superb videos and content. Your guidance and advice helped me finish my first Marmotte in good shape and ahead of my personal goal. It was a great pleasure to meet you briefly on the day at the bottom of the Alpe d'Heuz climb. Thanks for your encouragement and kind words.

Great content as always, particularly your historical analysis of pacing. If you are riding it this year hopefully you nail it.

Thank you for taking the time to produce these videos, they are really helpful, I’m riding the Maratona for the first time this year and of course the video applies to that event too 👍

Thank you! It's always great to have positive feedback. You are absolutely right, the same advice applies to pretty much any challenging event in the mountains. Good luck for the Maratona!

Marmotte for me this year but I've been lucky enough to do the Maratona twice. You will love it - it's such a fantastic event and all the local people and towns support it so well - best of luck!

Thanks great presentation. Had to reduce training due to a touch of tendonitis and was worried about the event but after your tips on pacing I’m now feeling more confident.

Very relevant pieces of advice. i followed this strategy on my first attempt in 2021. I was really looking forward to it this year but I just broke my collar bone and so frustrated after completing a very good preparation. You had the same experience if I remember well.

Thanks Bruno. Very sorry to hear about your accident - you are right, I did the same thing last year and am still a long way down on my previous level. Hope you recover quickly!

Great advice. I have done 3 before but still nervous. One mistake I made was to curve the number plate around my head tube to make it more aero. The timing chip wasn't read and my result wasn't recorded, luckily I have it on Strava.

Thanks for the feedback Christian. It’s definitely not a good idea to mess with the number plate, as you found out! Thanks for sharing.
