The actual nostalgia I have watching this video is absurd... bringing me back to my 8th grade days. Don't want to glaze, but thanks G, you're the reason we create.
Shout out to Luke Clanton and his top 10 placement as an amateur at the Rocket Mortgage Golf Tournament in Detroit, Michigan. He did really well. It was good to see an old GOOD GOOD athlete making a name on the Tour and national Tv.
Then Micah moved away and Garrett did everything to build the channel then invited him to come back and then Micah in my eyes completely stabbed Garrett in the back and used him to build a name for himself then abandoned him. I remember Garrett uploaded a video saying that he had invited Tig back and I said in the comments back then to be careful and not give him too much because i always had a bad feeling about him and low and behold You know the rest. The most annoying part for me is how unbelievably cocky and arrogant Tig is still to this day on his own and others channels and he’s just Not that good at golf or at making enjoyable content. Without Bryan bros bustajack and Grant his content is stale and boring.
i grew up in topeka, had some friends who went to kckcc, coffeyville cc, dodge city cc, and pratt cc for golf. kansas golf represent. one of them is now on staff at flint hills national - would love to see you play a round there. it's gorgeous
You have done so much for amuetur golf through GM golf and GOOD GOOD super impressive! Have followed back since the days of this course. Such a cool dream I wish I was born 10 years earlier to do youtube golf. Keep it going the 100k tournament was super cool! If you ever need someone on the team for connections for content let me know!
i might be only 14 but i remember scrolling on my you tube recommended (not youtube shorts btw ofc) and i found ur cool trick shot videos and I got hooked till this day seeing good good happen and as one of the first 1k subs on good good its insane how far you guys have came from just doing trick shots in your back yard and hitting pans and playing footgolf to hosting a 100k tournament sponsored by Callaway and getting to travel anywhere and play the coolest golf courses (also i was addicted to Collin ross videos back then too lol)
I have to commend you on doing this video with your cousin Josiah and giving props to his big brother Micah and his channel. I liked the "going home" aspect of this video. You didn't need Jackson and Malosi. The time would have been better spent with your cousin and your old coach. Yet its your channel and all in all that didn't spoil the video for me.
Junior course is so nostalgic. I remember watching you, Stephen, and Matt making funny videos at this course. Stephen was always wearing his soccer fits and was still learning the game of golf. So crazy to think how far everyone has come.
Trick shots, fighting with the college program and stealing Tammy's pan to make videos my hats off to you hell of a decision and even more props on the grinding 10/10
Such a nice idea for a GM_Golf vid. The old stomping grounds it was such a nice call back/contrast to the old formats. I really love the Jr course have the newer members setting up the same dynamic of Matt and Steve, so Malosi and Sploosh. It gave the same vibes but with the new cast it was like an echo of older times. The big course with Josiah was amazing as well, as Josiah was golfing at about the same level as Garrett did back in the day. So not only were all the misses and mistakes a nice vibe/call back but then we can see Garrett and how he's developed as a golfer more clearly. Just an amazing Production and Direction. Also it was neat to see how quick and tight the Jr course could be filmed and edited now compared to the solo early efforts.
This was a great video I’ve been watching since the beginning and it brought back memories of how fun the old days with crazy Matt and Steve and Zack Rad were to watch. Also Josiah’s a good golfer and fun to watch. I still don’t have the love for Tig but you guys should get Josiah to be in more videos and good good videos. He’s a stick.
Great video, I think Josiah's gonna be a great addition to Micah's channel, or make his own & do pretty well. One question though - why is there a period at the end of his name on the scoreboard? 😂
Great video. Advice as a pro caddied who caddied for 18 years. I notice pros always talk about what they want to happen. Amatore's say what they don't want to happen. So, my advice is pay attention to what you think and speak!
1I remember that when I started playing golf, I was looking for golf content on YT. My dad didn’t really know how to coach me because I had one hand, and I turned to YT, which also didn’t help, that’s when I discovered this channel. I remember watching at least two videos daily, most of the time you and grant in every one. Though those times are behind us, I’ll always remember this guy as THE man of youtube golf.
Love the throw backs. I remember talking to you on your live streams and saying to never forget where you came from and the ppl who were with you at that time.
Jackson trying to say he missed that putt G have him was hilarious, I was waiting for you or Mo to say "then do it again." Honestly surprised Mo didn't say it, I thought he'd say it for sure! 😂😂
Hey Guys, it’s Anthony Nicoletti. I am from St. Louis, MO. I have golfed all my life and am currently about to sign a professional contract with a Futbol/Football/Soccer team in Grenada, Spain. It’s a few months contract and am looking to perform for an extension. But that brings me to my question. I am currently trying to gain a bigger following and trying to get exposure publicly. I am a member at Innsbrook Golf Resort in Wright City, Missouri. I don’t know if you are Midwest very often, but the course compares to Bellerive Country Club that the PGA was played at acouple years ago here in St. Louis, Missouri. I actually grew up with AJ Pujols. I wouldn’t say we were friends or anything, but I played him in many sports and was fairly familiar with his father as he was to me. Great family. Anyways, I was wondering if I could get you out here for a round and get some filming done. I don’t know if you charge, but I will be willing to pay if that’s what it takes.
Garrett looks SO tired and disinterested nowadays... I get it, TH-cam is becoming boring, it has peaked and there's too many mediocre channels trying to jump on board plus a lot of Good Good has fractioned off into marginal content save for Grant but even his stuff is becoming tedious to watch. I'm done with everyone... Shiels, Finch, Fryer, Carter, Good Good, Horvat, Morris, Bustaack and Bob Does Sports. It's all the same shit now and too many sponsors pushing their way into content. I'm Bryan Bros. ONLY for right now... until they bore me.
Ngl been a while since I’ve seen a vid from GM or Good Good, not cause the quality went down or anything, just haven’t had as much down time to watch TH-cam at all, so seeing this vid felt real good and reminded me of the good times I had watching you and the boys play. Def gonna make an effort to check in more often. Also the “I make more sales, more people want me” to being called a Big Mac is hysterical 😂
Sweat shirt in the middle of summer seems crazy!!! Also, just leave GG already, they are holding you back!!!! Much better content when ur doing stuff like this. 💯
Both Josia and Mica say things backward ie "i' going to hit this over and up." In fairness, he said he didn't know what he was talking about. The saying is up and over. I can see Mica say the same thing. A very minor form of dyslexia
interesting, Im from Australia but got a full golf scholarship to a college in NM 20 years ago, the coach was a prick, not a nice guy like yours, but was interesting.
I'm surprised Matt Steven and Garrett hasn't turned that Par 3 course into a hidden Gem for the Kids in Kansas I'm sure most of the kids probably already know about it
One of Garrett's best and revealing videos in a while. An open book about his early history is so open and honest. The play on the par 3 course with Sploosh and Mo was priceless. This is what golf (youtube and otherwise) is supposed to be. Just an unbridaled fun with buddys and the scores are actually secondary. GoodGood should take note. Their videos have gotten far too serious competition wise especially since Brad was added.
But really there's nothing wrong with serious competition, Bubbie thrives in that, I also believe Matt would also if weren't fornhis back and wrist injuries
Just a lil note. U are almost never sure about your distances as in what club to hit and i feel like that holds you back. Other than that your great but for almost the past year ive just noticed that.
Ive been a subscriber since GM Golf was just Garrett, Matt, and Steve filming themselves at the junior course. Crazy to see how far the channel has come
Jackson is so likeable
lowkey Jackson kicks azz, always a vibe when he’s featured
Hes highly unlikable. Genuinly ruins the content hes a main character in.

The fact that Big Mo and Sploosh were arguing over who looked more like a burger, and specifically WHICH burger, is priceless. 🤣

He's still a goodgood athlete I believe. He's still wearing their polos but with another sponsor on them too
He had a respectful showing at the US Open too. He made the cut ahead of some big names.
Hellz yeah! It was awesome to see the young man on the big stage this week! Very impressive and a bright future ahead!
yeah miss the old days...now its just short fat men everywhere Garret goes

Literally stole my comment right after I wrote it!
@nickbraun1196 can you explain what happened? I haven't kept up with this channel or good good golf, and missed the drama
Garrett: "you been hitting the gym?"
Jackson: "No, Garrett. You live with me,"
That got me laughing out loud🤣🤣

😂 Freaking Jackson, dude! Can’t catch a break. BoRRRRgey 😂
Nice to see your cousin Josiah! Enjoying him on Micah's channel. Great to see your family involved.
Any video with Sploosh and Mo is just gonna be great before it even begins. Two of the funniest men on You Tube
thanks for sharing, you inspired me to try something new

When Jackson missed that 1-foot putt I literally laughed out loud 🤣😂 good stuff

Why is no one talking about 22:53 Josiah doesn’t know his right from his left just like Micah 🤣 must be a morris thing
Did you see your boy Luke Clanton Go off at the Rocket Mortgage!! Can’t wait to watch him next week!!
Josiah may talk LIKE Micah, but he doesn't talk NEARLY as much... which is a huge plus.
You should film a video with Neal Shipley

You should come back to becon lakes in Texas. I work there and it would be cool to meet you and maybe play 🤷🏻
The man’s a god fearing man! All I needed to know so you will always have my support
Why? This is dumb
Josiah has the same exact walk as Micah
Garrett, as someone who really wants to start filming their own content, what would you recommend for a beginner?
You were a junior at a community college? I thought community colleges were two years?
He said josiah's socials would be in the description but.. I'm assuming he has no socials
Josiah feels like if you put Micah's face and voice on Grants body.
Does anyone else see Matt and Steve arguing when Mo and Jackson argue lmaooo super nostalgic 😂
I wish Micah could have been in the back yard with you. That would’ve been cool to see.
I miss the vlogs it was cool to see what was happening behind the scenes and your everyday life.
Some mid level golf here. Probably the worst I've seen him play in any of his videos
Josiah looks more like Garrett than he does Micah. Nice cousin vibe!!
Maybe Josiah shouldn't stand up so straight while putting?
Ngl I thought Sploosh was Kendrick’s son😂
Garret is so good at golf
“Have you been hitting the gym?” was a rhetorical question
