What would be maximum air flow through single slot diffuser

    • @metalaire7886

We would recommend to maintain an airflow of less than 80 cfm/linear foot to minimize pressure drop and NC level. If you have more questions, please see our product page for additional info. www.metalaire.com/product/model-6600

I don't know why but every time I installed a Planum linear after the paint was complete the costumers called me back that around the linears is wet and the paint started to fall off so I guess that's not the right way

The reason that the linear was wet is because of condensation due to the air temperature being too cold. if the units are installed in a space with high relative humidity and the supply air temperature is cold and below the dew point temperature, then over time, the metal linear diffuser will condense water droplets on the surface which can ruin the paint next to the linears.
to solve this problem, they either need to increase the supply air temperature by a few degrees, or have a dehumidifier in use to reduce the relative humidity. unfortunately, there's no other solutions to solve that problem and it will occur with any metal product installed from any manufacturer.

I have a client with similar issue, they like to leave the doors open which causes condensation and as a result the spackling is delaminating around the vent. I need a solution for a moisture resistant spackle if there is such a thing.

You can use a rag with warm water and soap to clean off dust or other debris
