I listened to a doctor speak one time that encouraged all of the holistic things like you are, and also reminded everybody that MS was basically having a brain injury, and that we needed to take our medicine for our brain injury. He viewed a holistic approach as something to add if you could find something that worked for you, do it! But don’t stop taking your meds. You are exactly right.

I left nova/DC about 6 years ago, but I recommend seeing the MS team at Medstar Georgetown-- I think Dr. Tornatore is still there (My doc, Dr. Carlos Mora, just moved to a new VaTech program in Roanoke if you feel like making the drive). Dr. Heidi Crayton in Tysons is also one of the best in the area, I've never clinically seen her though
