Right on, proud Texan here! Way to go Austin-definitely we’re in need for more of a maker culture to outcompete some of the hegemonic empires out in California, New York, etc.
And no fast passenger rail connecting all these “cutting edge cities “ . Until Texas connects these cities by fast and frequent intercity passenger rail, people are just chugging along choked freeways with wasted hours. Imagine if Texas waits another 30 years to add high capacity, high frequency train travel!! We already wasted the last 30 years since the turned down the TGV French Bullet Train that would of connected San Antonio, Austin, Dallas and Houston. All these tech companies need to donate a billion each to Brightline and have them build a fast train set connecting our fastest growing technology hubs.
