It's always fascinating to me how Filipinos mix Tagalog with English. I'd love to know why some people when asked a question in Tagalog reply in only English, while others reply in a mix of Tagalog and English, and still others reply in (what I assume is) pure Tagalog. I would think that if you were asked a question in Tagalog you would reply in the same language, or at least a mixture. • @AnzuBrief

You are vastly misinform. Monotheist religions such as Christianity and Islam preach violence by the mere fact that they state their God is the only God, and everyone else is wrong. Everyone else will burn in Hell. This is something that doesn't happen with Polytheist religions, mostly of which are truly peaceful and accepting of everyone.
This doesnt mean every christian or Muslim is a bad person, but if you read their Holy Books, both religions teach very violent and unequal principles. Luckily Christians acknowledges this and have reformed their belief to fit the XXI values. Muslims, as a rule, have not.

I'm a Filipino from Mindanao who moved abroad when I was seven. It's interesting to see the disparity between the thoughts of people in Manila and the thoughts of people in Mindanao. As said, we should generalise the Muslim faith but we also shouldn't generalise people. I know people in Mindanao who experience these attacks are significantly more likely to harbour negative feelings about Muslims irregardless of age bracket and economic status. As people from Manila are dettached from the situation and it is easier for them to see past the hate and fear that ravages Mindanao.

Regarding the bombing issue, I think Asian Boss should have done the interviews in Mindanao region, in any part of Mindanao like Davao City, to indulge more to it and get the most authentic insights they are looking related to that issue. Because if they are to ask opinions of common people, then the interview should have been conducted on the nearest area of the incident and the interviewees must be coming from that area as well. They are the ones who experience such happenings on that certain event. Metro Manila is very far from the happenings.
