MOVING TO ALASKA & Visiting Banff National Park | HUGE Road Trip!

We finally packed up our tiny apartment in Virginia and started out on our 10 day Virginia to Alaska road trip. One of the prettiest stops along our way was Banff National Park in Canada. It seems crazy every time we say we are moving to Alaska!

Hey Samantha and Gray. Love the footage of your cat (Quin right?). Anyway I took my 15 year old car on a car trip from Canada to Florida recently and I gave him a little bit (about .25 - .50ml) of Gabapentin in his wet food about 3 hours before and he mellowed right out after 30 minutes and was a happy boy- just walked like he was drunk when we got to the hotel so we made sure he didn’t fall . That wore off 10 hours after he took the original med. Have you tried this? Makes it less stressful on all of you. I also had to put it in his wet treat that he loves when he wouldn’t eat his medicated wet food one day. Hope this helps. Safe journey back to Virginia!

As a Canadian, I love your accents when you pronounce Canada “Cyanada”. You’re right, Regina is pronounced Ridge-eye-na. Americans make fun of us and the way we say “out and about”. Glad you stopped in Banff. It is a jewel!

It was awesome! We have some more footage of the roads for the next vlog. They were pretty good most of the way but the last day or so driving from Canada into Alaska was pretty rough

She got pretty good at it in the end! At the beginning she freaked out for a couple hours at the start of the days and then whenever she woke back up after a nap
