    I sure hope my locs are textured like yours. I'm only 6 months in. Your locs look hydrated, moisturized, and have a sheen. Way to go, Sis!!!!🎉

    I feel you about the middle part! Idk why but my loctician who started my locs put a row of them right on my middle part ! Pisses me off to this day 😂😂. I remember having a breakdown about it like a year into my journey but by that time that ship had sailed . So i just work with it now.

    When you restart locs do you have to comb through them all and then put them back up…or how does that process work?
    I love this video!!! Very detailed and compact, I feel like I learned a lot of good information from you. The people are awaiting a part two!!!

    • @Dnm_locs
      @Dnm_locs  ปีที่แล้ว +1

      So locs are semi-permanent, so you keep them in and if you want to comb them out you would have to start the whole process again from scratch (it can take up to 2 years or more for your locs to fully loc up. And Thank you boo!! 🫶🏾💕💕💕

  • @queenali91
    @queenali91 ปีที่แล้ว

    Hi!! I followed you over from Insta :)). My locs are your size; Any tips for making them loc faster? I’m over a year in and the ones in the front still come out during washing! It’s so annoying. I even had them crocheted and they still came out!

    • @Dnm_locs
      @Dnm_locs  ปีที่แล้ว

      Hey hey!! 🫶🏾 it may take some time for your front locs to loc if they are a different texture then the rest of your head. Do you palm roll?

    • @queenali91
      @queenali91 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      @@Dnm_locs Yes! I tried crochet for the first time last month, but I’ll be sticking to palm rolling because that was expensive lol! I typically wash every 1.5-2 weeks because I have a finicky scalp, and the loctician said that was too frequent to wash and that’s why it’s not locking! I dont want to stretch my washes out too long though.

    • @Dnm_locs
      @Dnm_locs  ปีที่แล้ว

      @@queenali91 Did you start with coils or two strand twist?

    • @queenali91
      @queenali91 ปีที่แล้ว

      Coils! If they dont loc soon, maybe I’ll just combine them. They might be too small. @@Dnm_locs

    • @Dnm_locs
      @Dnm_locs  ปีที่แล้ว

      @@queenali91You don't need to combine them if you don't want to. When I started my loc journey, my hair was looser on the top of my head so it took longer for them to loc then the rest of my head. So just hold in there!
