I was going through my devotional on the Bible App and I happened to click on the website of the devotional creator and I came across your video on their website and watched you speak about the story behind this song. I have to tell you that I was so moved by your testimony and your faith and wanted you to know that it meant so much to me to hear something that you said in your testimony. You see, recently I lost my dad to cancer and have been trying to be there for my mother as much as possible through her grief. You made the comment in reference to your husbands passing; “It pleased the Lord to give me life and it pleased the Lord to take him home”. The Holy Spirit spoke to me that moment I heard those words and gave me an overwhelming sense of peace knowing that my dad going home was His perfect will. I’m so thankful for this beautiful song as it reminds me of our hope and the hope that my dad is living in now. Thank you for sharing and your testimony 🙌
