Wow, I've never seen any mall or grocery store look like that. I guess the economy is worse than we thought. I appreciate your videos as I'm overseas and love to see how the States is doing. Good job and keep up the good content.

that's what you get for putting a shithead like trump in office for 4 years. now it's going to take at least 16 years of democrat control of the government to turn things around undo the damage he did. VOTE DEMOCRAT!

I lived right next to this mall in 1997. Thunder Canyon Brewery was a great place to eat. looks like it's closed in this video, that's a shame.

Hi mate came across this video as tbh I was looking up old abandoned malls in the US, I thought that this may of been the Tucson Mall which was featured in one of my fav 80's movies "can't buy me love".
Not sure if you are a Tucson resident bu It am curious is the mall still operational, a fan did a relocation shoot in which he stated it was closed as of 2020 but the website still says it's open, if by a longshoot you ever venture out to do another mall flick love to know how it looks nowadays.
Cheers all the same with this vid brought down memory lane!

They are currently tearing it down. They are going to build some modern shopping center/condo/apt/restaurant thing. Looks like places I've been in CA so it might work.

Yes this mall originally opened in 1982, than when they opened those outlets in Marana in 2016 this place has struggled ever since.

I used to live in the brown apartments right across the parking lot of the mall there from 2009-2011. Seen plenty of movies at that theater with my bro, ate at the All American Diner when Tony was the cook. Had many a days just walking there cause we were struggling to make a living. It is kinda sad to see a memory of that place soon be gone.. Time sure goes by fast..

@Journey to addiction They closed off the other half of the mall to repair the hvac system, and were waiting for the final tenants, specifically bath and body works, to move outside of the mall with a cheaper rate of rent. They did this so they can remodel the mall and demolish certain parts to build the living center and more food and restaurant space to make the mall something that caters to more than just retail.
