New subscriber here. You can tell the difference between the younger generation and the old. The younger generation tell you how they had fun with a straight face. The order generation tell stories absolutely pissing themselves laughing cos they are remembering all the funny times they had. I feel sorry for the younger generations. They will never feel how good it was to find pram wheels in a dump😂😂
I remember doing everything Glesga Da was talking about and had the best childhood possible with all the crazy adventures. Great memories are flooding back now.
I remember breaking into empty houses in easterhoose to take the doors aff to build a den. Don't know why we didnae just use the hoose, squatters rights an all that !
Best days of my life building dens with yer mates. Best den we ever built was around Edderton backs in the late 80’s. Big double decker using only scaffolding planks, Big belter Great memories We used to burst into the old houses for the doors at Bonnie night for oor fire. Rip the boilers out in the process and down to the scrapyard at border the next day 😂
Near enough ages with Stuart but defo had more of the old skool childhood. Think our generation was about the last though, the thought of the wean doing half of what I got upto frightens the shite out of me 😂
i built a den from edinburgh now 51 born in a council scheme before you sy snob our neighbor went mental as bordered his garden and my mum told him to please leave us alone 😂 im sure u know what she said
I feel sorry for those generations for not doing all the things Glesga da mentions . I'd do every minute of it again. Housing schemes are not the same places they were when we grew up...we'll knew everyone......now .....no so much 😂
