Had same issue and fixed it FREE. I noticed one of the three pins on the socket looked burned (The one that is flat on top not the other two that are rounded on the top). I lightly sanded the top and side of the pin so it could make a good contact and with a pair of needle nose pliers pulled it up so it was at the same level as the other two pins. Reinstalled it and everything works. 😉 Thank you for this video, it pointed me to the right place to look. 👍
Thank you for posting this video! Started happening on my 2013 sorento, pulled the housing and saw the exact same thing. $40 oem part later (thanks for the part # in the description) and it works perfectly! Saved a bunch by not taking it into the dealer!!
This was a great video and it fixed my problem! Thank you so much! One thing I will mention to others is that the socket was hard to twist back in. I ended up having to take the headlight off and use pliers to twist it in place. Just need to make sure that the socket is between the half moon shape grooves of the headlight.
Mine is also the drivers side and I just picked up the part today while taking my other Sorento into get recalls done, oil changed and tire rotated. I will be putting it in sometime this weekend to see if corrects the issue. For 50 bucks it better solve the issue.
Update: This was the issue on my Sorento with the fast flashing on my turn signal. One of the small metal contacts on the old housing was corroded and missing. After putting in the new part it corrected the issue. Thank You
Same thing happened to me ! But the new part doesn’t work neither! I don’t think it’s the same the new one bc it just clicks in and the old one turned the bulb to lock it ughh so tired of people beeping at me for thinking I don’t have a blinker 🤦🏾♀️🤣🤣 send help!

Thank you. I am having the same problem on my 2011 Kia Sorento. I will definitely give this a shot.
Did it work for you ?
@@laurentsosie4554 Yes one of the small prongs rusted out and I had to clean up the metal contacts with sandpaper due to the rust.
Really GREAT video. Exact problem exact solution. Thanks!!!
Funny. Mine recently failed... and I got a bunch of spares from the local junk yard --- where the contacts looked good.
I bought the socket but don’t know how to install it!😅 but thanks I’m gonna figure it out!
Totally have the exact same problem. I thought about trying the same thing. Thanks for posting.
For me i have it on the drivers side, replaced the bulb a couple months back and the blinker never work even still. Im going to try this.

Dang, yeah I see that. I googled it and found other sites selling the part but I just can't speak on if they're reliable. Good luck!
