I love the bodywork with the shark fin and the wing, and the other aero works. And that makes me wonder how much downforce it can produce in cornerings and the airflow within the bodywork in straights. Even the seats are low for lowering the center of gravity. And I love how car manufacturers are adapting to metal 3D printing.

@You Didn't See Graphite, Because It's Not There The difference in engineering, quality and craftsmanship between SSC and any European supercar is so major that only someone insane would buy the SSC. It's a badly designed and built car that just goes in a straight line, and sucks at every single other thing.
Well for you that say the Tuatara is only for straight speed and SUCKS at everything else, well it’s much much better than a Bugatti veyron and debatably even the Chiron because those cars can’t even turn at all.

It's been a long time since I've seen a Beautiful Bugatti IMO. I never liked the Horseshoe grille on modern car styling (it fits the original era of origin almost a century ago, but looks eh on 20XX cars) but the Eb110 and this Bolide have it shrunken down to the point it's not intrusive, so the car's front looks so much better!
@@igordarrell Honestly I like the looks of the Tuatara more than this. I never liked the egg shaped Veyron and everything derived from it. My favourite design for a Bugatti is the EB110. I always liked the wedge shape but never really fell for Audi TT, porsche, beetle (except for the original one) veyron or any other egg shaped car.
@@theonewhodoesntcringe4048 Yea, but from personal experience I can tell you that top speed isn't everything. My Saturn V has very decent top speed but acceleration isn't that great. And fuel efficiency is atrocious. In fact, I'm not even using it for shorter errands like going to the bakery anymore and use my e-scooter instead.
Every time you crash at those speeds/forces its pretty much a whole rebuild needed. With those bespoke parts and prices that would be as ruinous as Formula 1, maybe minus the constant engineering effort of upgrades throughout the season...

Chris Harris : Volkswagen IDR electric track car generates over a ton of downforce at 120-125 mph To be fair, maybe some of the technical know-how used to make the Bugatti Bolide was acquired from developing/driving of the IDR Those wheels somewhat remind me of what Mclaren did with the Speedtail. On a side note, it would be awesome if Bugatti used at least some of the Bolide's design strategies for the successor to the Chiron.

@William West (student) 2.2 for 100-200 is definitely possible with these specs. There have already been tuned 997 turbos that do it in 2.5, and this car has better specs than those.

the car is NEVER running at 1240kg. engine oil, engine cooling, gearbox oil and cooling will add up to like 1350kg at least even with minimum fuel.

Every time you crash at those speeds/forces its pretty much a whole rebuild needed. With those bespoke parts and prices that would be as ruinous as Formula 1, maybe minus the constant engineering effort of upgrades throughout the season...

To be fair, maybe some of the technical know-how used to make the Bugatti Bolide was acquired from developing/driving of the IDR
