The bit with Truth and Kane where Truth mistakenly thinks he is in the Money in the Bank ladder match gets a laugh out of me every time. Kane helps too with his line, "You're not even in the match!" You could tell Kane barely held it together.

Let's be honest. If it weren't for Truth, quite a few people wouldn't tune in each Monday in hopes for the occasional backstage segment giving us this wholesome individual. Truth is an absolute legend.
Santino little feud with Stone Cold is still a highlight to me... "They tried to make me watch The Condemned, I said No, No, No" lol Santino was gold and still wish he had won the 2011 Rumble.

Santino was the one wrestler my brother (who makes fun of wrestling any chance he gets) could get behind. I have no idea why, but he must have been doing something right. I loved him as well, his performance in the 2012 Elimination Chamber was fantastic
R-Truth has to be ranked at number 1. His longevity of comedy in the WWE never fails to amaze anyone, and I mean *anyone.* I hope to see him do more amazing acts in the future. Can’t wait to see how he’ll make his return since we haven’t seen him in a while.
Orange Cassidy is basically Paul Rudd's character in Wet Hot American Summer. His entrance theme in the indies was Jane by Jefferson Starship which is also the title theme to that movie
Toru Yano, Maki Itoh and Danhausen are hilarous, feel like they shouldve been on the list. Also, Famous B was amazing as a comedy act on Lucha Underground, but he was more of a manager figure there i guess.
Bossman crashing Big Show's dad's funeral and dragging off the casket with his car is the funniest damn thing I've ever seen. Where else but wrestling are you going to find that?
Comedy in wrestling is one of the things that got me hooked. Grado is one of my all time favourites and, after meeting them, my respect for them grew even more.
@@TheGrimmCommoner When Cabana was #3, I figured he had to be one of the top two. The shit that just the two of them did together in the last couple years over in Japan was GOLD.

@@JacksonOwexI actually feel asleep before they got to the end of the list. I'm guessing by everyone's comments that is just the big 2 American companies and nothing else.
I desperately want to see Grado soon, not even sure if hes been wrestling lately. Would love to see him on NXT UK, but honestly I just want to see him make his way to the ring to Like a Prayer once again.
Here are a few honorable mentions: Al Snow: Was pretty hilarious when given the right material or the right person to play off of (such as Steve Blackman or Jerry Lawler) Disco Inferno: Often made me smile, mostly because of his buffoonish character. A great moment was when he tried to do his new mover, the Figure Four, but needed to refer to a handwritten diagram to put it on properly. Honkytonk Man: I'm not sure you'd really call him a comedy wrestler, but there were moments when he made me smile, such as his 2001 Royal Rumble appearance, when he tries to do a concert in front of Kane, only to get the El Kabong for his trouble. JBL: OK, definitely not a comedy wrestler, but he really had some great moments, such as when he was tranquilized and ended up arguing with a blow-up dinosaur.
He was never supposed to be a comedy wrestler. He was supposed to be a great trash talker, though Max Castor is running circles around him at this point.
Hey Adam, how bout this for a top 10 list. "10 comedic wrestling matches that were genuinely funny!" Are there actually 10 genuinely funny matches, I can't think of any off hand? Lol
It would've been an injustice to the great comedy wrestling pioneer that was Les Kellett if he was kept off this list. Nice to see him getting some recognition.
TORU YANO. Seriously. Whoever wrote this needs to get a comedy wrestling education, and now. That's just fucking sad that you left Toru Yano off this list. MINDBLOWING.
George "The Animal" Steele belongs on the list. I am an old fart who used to see him wrestle in the Boston Garden back in the 70s. Always entertaining though a bit of a one note ggimmick.
Them, "You still like wrestling? Are you five years old?" Me, "nah it's okay, look (turns on wrestling for 1 minute)" Orange Cassidy... Me, "yeah you're right it's for kids"
I think Fandango should be on this list. He's more talented in ring than a lot of wrestlers but him and Tyler Breeze have been treated as comedy wrestlers. Johnny Curtis started off as funny in NXT with his "Lets Get Weird!" gimmick. Then he had the debut vignettes where he had a potato chip on his shoulder and poured milk on his head. Then he re debuted as Fandango and wouldn't wrestle for weeks because no one could pronounce his name right and he beat Chris Jericho at WrestleMania when he finally wrestled. Then him and Tyler Breeze formed Breezango and they became one of the funniest tag teams in history. The Fashion Files are some of the best comedy WWE has had in the past decade.
A very underrated comedy wrestler is tracy smothers. I just loved that he was clearly a hillbilly but was in fbi. And in his later years his promos on the indies were hilarious. "If I hear a tracy sucks, ultra mega mass homicide on everyone in this building."
Nowadays OC is much more than a comedy wrestler in my opinion. I get this video is a couple years old but OC’s international title run was gold. Probably my favorite wrestler on AEW’s roster right now.
I’m sure it won’t do much for anyone here, but hearing this list dissected by Jim Cornette on Episode 188 of Jim Cornette’s Drive Through made me smile. Toru Yano once won a match by trapping someone in an elevator. He's a comedic god.
