NB - After the release of this video I was contacted by a former member of the Phoenix Academy who stated that the rumors of shoplifting are untrue. When asked if Akeem Bernard got kicked from Phoenix for shoplifting when abroad, the player said "I don’t feel I’m at liberty to disclose but that’s untrue bro." So as I correctly said in the video those were allegations and the real reason for him getting kicked is still unknown. Wishing the player all the best and hopefully he can overcome the indiscipline that Craig Butler spoke about to have a great career!
