- It’s a new week, and the vet clinic is bursting with activity. While Dr. Erin has her hands full with a dog that was injured in a fight, Dr. Ben nurses a newborn calf back to health. Later, the whole family heads to a local Nebraska conservation site to assess the health of a herd of bison and watch the breathtaking migration of cranes.

You can tell both vet really care about the animals they treat. Wonderful show.
Why in the world would anyone let that tumor get that big!?? I'm bawling my eyes out 😭 God bless these Doc's for everything they do!
I'm like you, I can't stop crying. I was wondering why they let it get so big.
with her age (retrievers average a max of 13 so 12 is pretty old) and the location of the lump (hello incontinence next to a recovering wound) it wouldn't have been an easy decision for even a small lump, also any surgery is bloody expensive (i think episode participants get some discount? but it still ain't free unless said otherwise)
I couldn’t believe they let that tumor get so big. Poor dog must have been in pain all that time
The sweet lil calf is wagging her tail while you’re tube feeding her. ❤
My favorite vets on Nat Geo! Ben and Erin are just awesome. ♥♥
I've got to admit - Dr . Pol , move over a bit ! 😊❤😊
Wow! Losing an animal under your care is heart breaking. Regardless of why. One of the reasons I didn't finish vet school. I knew I couldn't handle it. I hope the trip helped Erin.
This is the first time I've seen your show. It's so informative. I've wanted to be a vet my whole life. I love learning about all of these things. ❤
Nay Geo Wild was taken off our cable due to some sort of dispute with Disney! I am so glad I found you on You Tube. I have definitely missed seeing these shows.
Thanks for the information. I was wondering why I couldn't find Dr.s Ben and Erin on TV. They're favorites of mine.
Always thrilling and emotional to watch wildlife documentaries. Pure love❤
Amazing video ❤❤
The Gilbertsons. They waited until that dog's tumor was gigantic. If they can't take better care of their pets, then they shouldn't have pets.
Can't help thinking about the same thing. I would have taken my pet to the vet for a thumb size lumb not waiting for it to grow into that humongous tumor.😅
Absolutely appalling ! How in the world. No one noticed? So sad.
They were probably thinking that at 12 she was not going to have a lot of time left. Also, vet surgeries are unbelievably expensive, and they might not have had $6,000 for vet bills. I'm totally in agreement that they should have had the tumors treated long ago, but it's hard to judge the family with only a few minutes of footage.
They should have had her put to sleep and not have had the surgery done. They were not thinking about the dog, who obviously was suffering a lot.
One does wonder why it wasn't treated sooner.
I don't understand why any one would wait so long to have this tumor removed. Makes no sense and is cruel for the dog. Animal abuse.
How freely people scream , " Animal abuse " .
It's the norm now & it's so ignorant .
@@brooksequine7621Maybe not abuse, but certainly, it is neglect!
Heartland Vets my favorite show on TH-cam.
Love Heartland Vets.
I enjoyed watching this video
Thank you Nat Geo Wild!
Crying for Zee
That’s good videos always
Mollies and guppies both breed like crazy XD
How can you not notice that tumor? It's not like she's covered with a ton of fur or anything.
Sorry, but how can you not get a lump checked before it gets huge?
Don’t understand how they would wait with such a mass developing. Depressing really
i LOVES THOSE VETS ROCK ON BLESS U FOR TAKING CARE OF EVERY ANIMALS
BUT EARN I FEEL U WHEN COMES TO SNAKES
KEEP THEM AWAY FROM ME ME!!!
Oh my, those kiddos are gonna be such good caretakers for that calf!!!
❤

Don't judge! You don't know everything.
I agree ... I think that inwardly , this family had a big clue but couldn't deal with the reality of what was happening .
And the beloved dog suffered mightily .
So unfortunate . 😢
22:30 how could ? Not one but five people's not see a lump growing it's not something that just got big overnight 😢😮 .
Ok u don't know that this is a lump without medical knowledge but atleast see there is something growing day by day like an abscess
Không thuyết minh, không phụ đề. Làm sao hiểu.?
Why tf would you let a tumor get that big?! Should of seen the vet a long time ago wth is wrong with these ppl
The best show on TH-cam!
❤

A world-class athlete, in full command of his skill and to all outward appearances in excellent physical condition, suddenly collapsed during a practice session and died. The athlete was Sergei Grinkov, a two-time Olympic gold medalist ice skater, whose career was cut short just as it started to blossom-when he was only 28 years old. What a tragedy! The cause? A heart attack. It was said that his death was totally unexpected because there was no sign of any kind to indicate that he was suffering from heart disease. Yet, examiners found that he had an enlarged heart and severely blocked coronary arteries.
As with physical heart disease, one of the surest ways to prevent a heart attack spiritually speaking is to learn of its causes and then take steps to do something about them.
