Geosystems Situational Awareness Mast (aka Zippermast) on iRobot Packbot

The situational awareness mast (or Zippermast) from Geosystems Inc. is a telescoping linear actuator that can vertically translate a robot's sensor suite for better visibility. In robotics club about 13 years ago, Mr. woodruff came and showed some older models off. It got students interested in the field and we had a big turnout that year for the team. Seeing it in action blew my mind
