it's so interesting how you mentioned how relaxed he seems now compared to the earlier days because that's one of the things he talks about in the documentary about the album and the whole process, i cannot agree with that more, he just truly let go of all expectations that he would usually worry about for this project and just explored sounds and himself as well just "enjoying" being lost and figuring out life in a more healthy way. love this man so much as an artist and as the beautiful person he is
I love that he just released this video without any prior warning! You guys are so right, he seems very free and authentic and happy. He said in the minimoni interview that he himself was shocked at the amount of tension he’d been carrying all these years when he saw youtube clips of himself backstage - it’s scary how much you can carry around without fully being aware of it yourself. I hope he can breathe a bit more in the future.
loved the conversation you had after the video, i think you nailed it, he just really needed that freedom and time where he didn't have to worry about representing anything but himself to truly sort some stuff out after years of constant pressure, he just looked so human to me in this video (as funny as it sounds) and that honestly made me so happy for him
I agree with you guys so much, i believe you were also remembering what he said in the Minimoni Music, he did feel a lot of pressure and working in this album prior to going to the military for sure helped him a lot!! In his LIves at the time it was always a rollercoaster of emotions, but the album and all the vibes to it ESPECIALLY this MV, that is very connected to his documentary feels very authentic and that he really was more relieved in a way, i really liked this album and this mv too!!!!
what a nice surprise! and yes the mv is about his recent documentary that is on cinemas right now hope you can watch it, I went yesterday and it was really awesome and you can appreciate how hard he worked and this album and how sincere he is about his art. And I agree about what you said about not realizing how stressed he was in the past even though he seemed relaxe and he said it himself that he used to be so tensed even on the stage and now after watching this documentary I'm happy that he took this journey to free himself from every preassure and that he is more sincere with himself now and I'm so thankful that he created this masterpiece
oh you geeet it get it, it makes me so happy that you guys really appreciate this and understand namjoon so well, great reaction guys! you're gonna looove the documentary about rpwp
The documentary is called “Right People, Wrong Place.” It was in theaters this weekend. I saw it, and it was very good. Some of the scenes are in that, some were filmed at the same time but weren’t in the documentary. This is my favorite song of Right Person, Wrong Place. I am SO happy it finally got an MV, too. Wes and Steph, you should try to see the doc - not sure if it will be on after Sunday. We are hoping (and assuming) it will be added on Disney+ eventually, like the other members’ docs have been. You will really understand him and this time period for him, if you watch the doc.
Omg i can't with these surprise reactions!!!! This mv is very intertwined with his documentary that is showing in cinemas now, that's why it came out just now and not together with the album!!! I can't wait to watch it but in my country it will be available only in January😭😭 But anyways, i love this song and i'm glad we got a mv!!!
Still hoping you get to react to White Christmas By V and Bing Crosby and maybe do a Christmas Special video watching a bunch of their Christmas performances and songs, i recommend Snow Flower, Christmas Love, Christmas Carols medley @ Gayo Daejeon, and the very old school songs "A Trainee's Christmas" and ''A Typical Idol's Christmas", not everyone know these last 2 songs but it's really good!!! Also, for White Christmas, i hope you know that Tae's dog Yeontan passed away recently so the illustrator for the MV decided to put him in the Mv as a homage, so its a homage for both Bing Crosby and Tannie
