Fabulous! Everything this saintly priest says is profound. I especially like to hear a holy priest denounce fractional-reserve banking. Several erudite economists are now saying that very same thing.

In pre-94 South Africa, university dorms still had headmasters and mistresses. My mother recalls that no male visitors were allowed in the female dorms. TV was also banned until the late 70s, based on the argument that it has a corrupting influence 🤔

I grew up in a Catholic home and now understand why I didn't see so much on TV as a kid. I am watching old shows and enjoying them now as a retiree. I do know that it was a sheltered life and I am grateful for it.

Blessed the ones who have the chance to have a spiritual director of this caliber. So much of us would heal the canundrums of lifes lives in chaos. I ear truth a sence but just do not know how to intied a life of chaos. Blessed be the ones that ear this conference and have a clear plan of action. May the Holly trinity send the ones like us, a more clear understanding of this série of truth that we can articulate and digest to renew our broken life, to give back glory where it all comes from. Please, iholly trinity we don't deserve it but help us to at least be worthy of beeing consumumed by the flames of love of purgatory. I see so much people like me, all honnours to the three divine persons, please send brothers to be our brothers, and that we can be strengthed to be brothers to others. In a cycle of virtue. Praised be the keepers of this nourishing tradition in a word of fast food thinking. Praised be Jesus our lord who defeated death.

It’s crazy for me to listen to this as it was so long ago and father called it when he told that lady that at some point you’re going to lose access to the church. And boy did that happen.

In his talk on exorcism, he says that disordered attitudes towards money and possessions is the greatest sin in the West. An an example to support this observation is the lack of guidance from the church in the last 50 years on the topic of money. In the 1960s Bishop Leger from Quebec went to Africa to be with the sick. Mother Teresa is the most well known example of the same example of sacrifice. Where are the others?
Your example of Mother Teresa was sadly, a poor example, pun intended. Teresa was accused by two doctors of not feeding her nuns properly: many were malnourished. She turned down a building offered by NYC because it had an elevator. The nuns had to wash their clothes in buckets. This is an absurd, intemperate and I believe cruel, deprivation. Her nuns were compelled to do back-breaking and draining work for the sick and destitute. The LEAST they should have had was modern facilities and a good, healthy diet. Many of their homes for the dying were DIRTY; those in pain were lucky to get a Tylenol. In terrible contrast, Teresa went to the prestigious Mayo clinic when ill. She took funds from KNOWN criminals: including the Duvalier family of Haiti. She sought the spotlight, prancing about with the late Princess Diana, she idolized JPII and there is abundant evidence as I provided that she made an idol out of poverty, itself. Her successor, when the accusation of financial malfeasance was brought up, smiled and said it was "God's math". In short, Mother Teresa was a Modernist fraud. Her own biography shows the extent of her rabid ecumenism: 'we help Buddhists to die as good Buddhists, Hindus as good Hindus..." With few exceptions, all canonized under the Vatican II counterfeit Church are suspect: JPII, Paul VI, Faustina and more.

Honestly, I see next to no difference between Fr Ripperger‘s lesson and how the Mormons moral teachings had guilt-tripped and shamed me/us in my early adolescence in the late 80s, early 90s with Spencer Kimball‘s ‚Miracle of Forgiveness‘. It has driven countless youth into suicide.
I know the underlying theology is very different. But this has me tempted to reconsider my catecumenate.
I dearly hope you'll continue your journey into the Church. Fr. Ripperger is condensing the whole moral theology of the Church, it's not an overnight "check all the boxes or you're reprobate" thing, and God certainly doesn't expect that of us. As long as we're sincerely aiming to be better (which requires small, realistic steps!) we can trust in the redemptive power of Christ's Passion, and the wonderful Sacrament of Penance. Our weakness is no match for the Blood of Christ! As He put it to Sr. Josefa Menendez: "I don't need your strength, only your surrender." God bless you and keep you.
@Leonora Kramer what you are writing about Mormons lacking the sacrament of confession and a theology of grace (and also God’s unconditional love) is very true.
Add to that a close community with strict norms…
Books such as the one mentioned have strongly influenced those norms. And many youth just break. Particularly if what they are can‘t fit in. and they have no one to turn to.
Catholicism is different. It is at its best, particularly in those moments I have found…

In terms of keeping the Sabbath Holy, would I still be allowed to exercise after attending Mass? Also, would Saturday’s be considered part of the Sabbath?
How do you pray with confidence?
One the topic of preservation of a person as one is, what then is the opinion of removing a mole, braces for teeth, corrective eye surgery, removal is wisdom teeth, and so on and so fourth? Would it not be judgemental to advise against or criticize some of those who chose such elective surgeries?

can you clarify about the St Michael prayer being forbidden to be said by normal parishioners. Is that correct? I have been saying it on a regular daily basis. is that the prayer, St. Michael the Archangel defend us in the day of battle, be our safeguard against the wickedness and snares of the devil. May God rebuke him we humbly pray ......etc. and why is this?
the short form of the St. Michael prayer as laity we are allowed yo pray it. traditionally after Mass and Holy Communion. There is a long form of the St. Michael prayer which contains exorcisms that only Priests could pray since there are specific commands which could only be said by an ordained minister of the Church.
The novus ordo mass took it out.

It was probably Mohammed's first wife, Khadija, who was richer than him and older than him, who told him to beat all the other wives he brought into her household. All the finger pointing, yet the Church hardly does anything for the poor and suffering. First thing you see and hear after natural disasters is the Church with it's hand out for more tithe while blaming the ones they're begging too.
Dear Father, I love your talks and have learned so much from you. But I would like to humbly ask you to consider leaving the subject of midgets out of future talks. They are human beings made in the image and likeness of God and I think you're committing an act of injustice against them by using them as objects of humor. They already have a big cross to carry!

I think you rush with the PC judgment as I do believe they have a sense of humor about their situation.
These things are all made so clear in Scripture…but when men would rather follow other men than God, because their deeds are evil, they say things that don’t even require the Holy Spirit to discern as error: “Catholics believe (serve) a self-appointed man over the eternal Instructions (“Torah” in Hebrew) that were given by the finger of the Most High, almighty God. Indeed, they do violence to even the 10 Commandments in order to maintain their pagan roots that make graven images, which have ALWAYS BEEN PROHIBITED BY THE 2nd Commandment! Not to mention Exodus31:13-14(esv) which declares that the Command to keep Sabbath is “above all…” and a wedding ring SIGN between God and His people!
The Vatican is following the same man-centered (Mt7:23 practice of) LAWLESSNESS that caused the Jews to be so disconnected from God by their strict adherence to the lawless traditions of carnal outwardly pious men…
