Bloodhound Build: 2 pt Keen Sense: Smell, Hearing 1 pt Skillful: Awareness, Survival A reminder that ADV stacks, so taking Keen Sense and Skillful could net you multiple ADV if you already have Masteries. Permanent ADV also confers a +5 on Passive skill checks, so your Passive Awareness could be as much as 8+3+2+10=23 if you have mastery and 2ADV at level 1, that's quite a hard check to beat for a stealthy foe.
You did a great job on explaining this! My concern isn't this up for being rebuilt? I'm trying to remember back to one of the streams didn't he say this is overcomplicated? I love the crunch and the number of possibilities. Maybe that's me just reminiscing back to my 3.5 days.
Also the utility feels like the design intent. Maybe when we get something like a Moon Druid subclass its wild forms will have different base stats and a better mana/traits ratio
I would love to see one of these videos on hiding/stealth/sight/hidden condition/surprise/etc! That always seems a bit complicated both in dnd and dc20
Loved the vid! Was curious on the ancestry not applying benefits: Does this mean ancestry skill traits do not apply? What about negative skill traits (since you don't "benefit" from them); this matters more when it affects mental attributes. Lastly, have you thought about putting the current version number in the thumbnails for reference?
Ancestry traits are a bit of a grey area. Like does strong minded give a +1 to MD even when wild shaped? Or how does skill expertise (both ancestry trait and class feature) work when you Wild Form. There is honestly a lot that the rules don't really make clear. Wild Form can be a very messy feature sometimes. But negative ancestry traits like sunlight sensitivity definitely don't apply to your wild form "benefit" is a bis misleading there lol. As for version number i should add it to the description and maybe ill add it to the thumbail. I am also planning to add the page number for pages of the book I am putting images of
4th! Stealth next(Its atleast less convoluted then 5e, just a bit less logical)! Edit: Also, Wild Form with 3 spent mana is the best Grapple build currently. (2) Large Sized (2) Powerful Build (1) +2 MIG (1) Skillfun: Athletics, Intimidation You end up being able to grapple even Gargantuan creatures with no DisADV. With only a MSL total needed of 2. So 2 druids of any level or 1 of level 3 or higher. Still 2 HP tho.
@RaqxesDK requires 3 spent mana, so traditionally level 5(as assumed with the 2nd +2 MIG raising the cap). But if you have 1-2 other druids willing to add mana to the pool using their MSL it can be done at level 1 or 3. The MSL and Mana spent between all casters just need to be atleast 3 for the 7 trait points, though you would have 2 left over. For at level 3 you could do this with 2 mana, loosing the 2 left over points in exchange for less cost and the extra point is taken by the 2nd +2 MIG being useless thanks to not being lvl 5 yet to raise the cap. Imma go edit it now because I somehow forgot how math worked and am going to remove the 2nd +MIG for a 2 mana version. Hope this helped though.
Once I understood the set up for wild form it made sense to me but explaining it is difficult. Maybe a better way to word it might be "you can hold 2 types of wild form at a time that cost no mp to transform in and out of. Use 1 mp when you transform to instead create and turn into a new wild form and forget an old one". Just thinking aloud.
@SebastianLion oh good question, I forgot to mention this in the video but the answer is no. The Wild Form HP formula is independent of your might. If you want to increase HP it has to be done through the Healthy or Tough traits.
Great video, very informative. Love these videos

Another great video!
Glad you enjoyed!
Great job clearing up the two-forms confusion.
Thank you
I never contemplated combo casting outside of traditional spells. I'm going to have to ponder this development...

@@claudio_wild Interesting. Several other classes come close, but no other feature benefits from this option yet.
We’ve had people combo “cast” Dragonborn breath weapons.
Awesome video, this makes starting in DC20 so much easier

Yes, most of my videos are likely to have to be remade, but until that point these videos would help clarify things for people
I've been meaning to check this game out. Looks promising.
