I am a bit confused about the time line of the creation of man and woman. In Genesis Chapter 1, verse 27, it reads (paraphrased)…God created male and female on the sixth day. We’re Adam and Eve created after that? (Genesis 2)? Please explain. Thank you for that prayer ending this sermon.
Is the home of an abandoned wife whose former husband, a Christian leader who sprained her jaw, broke her fingers, and cheated on her, not holy because of the abuse, because of the abandonment, and because of the divorce? Reality like this is often ignored by the church, never referenced in a sermon, and shunned by the church body.
