    🤣 man I like your style! You had me cracking up for real. Everything you were saying is exactly what goes on in my head while I’m working on stuff. You got a new sub here, even if it’s just for the commentary

    I just did the same thing this week, but used blue rock lights mounted them on the screws T 10 for the panels right next to where you mounted your lights there about an inch and a half long plenty to go through the rock light and still mount the panel.
    I had fun, checking out the wires on that switch, the crazy wire you’re talking about actually gets power when the automatic lights is activated by the darkness and it stays on as long as it’s dark. It will also work with the door open activation, but it’s only on for about 30 seconds then shuts off.
    I then connected it to the same light as you did, and everything works great manual on and door, activation, or manual off.

    Like your humor! Not adding extra lights, but enjoyed the commentary.

    Good tutorial, I would recommend RGB or LED strips though, easier to install and very bright. Only thing you have to do with those is decide how to hide the cables so it looks clean.

    I like your style. I got a '14. The '14 and '15 have the cr*ppiest illumination inside and outside. Headlights stink as well. What was the GM engineers thinking. May have to do this to mine. Thanks for the hint. looks good.

    I have an 06 Silverado work truck with no courtesy lights or dome light. What wire would I tap into?

      I enjoyed your video. Being a low voltage tech and adding some stuff, this video was spot on. Great commentary. We need more Chevy guys here.

    Very Good! I’m running some into the doors themselves to help light shit up, I have no
    f-ing idea why chevy couldn’t do that. How many more lazy union & minority employees would it have taken? I would have said over paid but it depends on where your truck was built?

  • @dapunza
    @dapunza ปีที่แล้ว

    Great video, I agree these trucks dont have adequate lighting. Also these door sills may intrest you they use the same dome lights like you did, I doubt as bright but light up the same area. These videos show where you can tap in to the dome lights, Gray Wire at the BCM near the drivers feet, this would allow you to bypass running the wire from the top to the emergency brake since it's already near the emergency brake. Same guy installs some door handle llights too.
