- not sure why I thought this would be a good idea, but I simply remade as many textures as I could in wii sports resort

I’m so glad that repainting is a thing people are doing outside of games repainted. It’s comedy gold, and even though the original crew might not partake in it as much any more, shitposts like this are still being made.

I love these mods that youtubers make but I don’t understand why they never *release them* and keep it to themselves.
Nintendo would have something against releasing texture packs for their games
@@corruptedplayer Nintendo can’t do anything about texture packs being released for their games for a few reasons:
1.) There is no profit involved
2.) Many other mods of this game have been released before, upon others
3.) Wii Sports is no longer being sold anyways so it doesn’t effect their sales either way

@@garfieldunderpants9914 well, they must have been due to mods like Newer Super Mario Bros. Wii never being taken down and being up for about 9 years to this day. I highly doubt that Nintendo would get angry at a mod for a tech demo with no gameplay changing elements whatsoever.

@@thepikachugamer Not really tbh, as long as you have the modded ISO and a modded Wii (all you need is an SD card to do the mod) you can load games from the SD card directly.
@@irrigamii The thing is, they used Dolphin's dump/load textures, and you can't simply put those into the game image
@@thepikachugamer Ah, I see. I used to romhack NSMBWii and I’d replace the textures by unpacking the ISO using a program I forgot the name of, but it’s cool that Dolphin has a feature for that
@@thepikachugamer this isnt too hard to do though, ive done a bunch of modding before. theres tools that make it pretty easy on the wii

There is a more difficult way of doing it it would be soft moding your Wii and then burning new textures onto a Wii Sports disc
