Is humanity alone in the universe? Considering the universe is so incredibly big that it makes my brain hurt, I'd say that we are almost certainly not alone. However, aliens coming to Earth is also unlikely for the exact same reason. Now to quote the Doctor: "You made a horror movie called Alien? That's really rude! No wonder you keep getting invaded."

@@LapideVoice I honestly think, in this case, the lie was a strategic necessity. The fact that she felt safe and secure enough to be vulnerable and show her true self, not to mention how well the listener took her doing it, proves how much trust they have built. It could almost be viewed as an allegorical take on someone with trust issues showing their true self to someone they're romantically interested in and finally feel safe with. Every relationship is build on the foundational triad of common goals, common principles, and trust. That she exposed her true nature would only bring us closer together if it were me. If this were expanded as a full story, I would have high expectations for these two and think a future romance a strong possibility; if not an outright certainty.
Nice job making her picture change when she deactivated her disguise, though I feel like you could maybe have _changed the sound of your voice_ in editing once she revealed her alien form. She presumably has different vocal chords than a human, so I would assume that her voice would sound more, well, "alien." Still hoping you'll try that "alien language barrier" idea I told you about someday (where an alien doesn't look like a human nor speaks English, but manages to find another way to communicate and make friends with the listener) but this was sweet too!
Pretty sure they already made an audio about that, the video was titled something along the lines of "Star child crash lands on earth" you'll find it if you scroll enough through her channel.

I thought the idea of _overcoming the langauge barrier_ was a cool aspect of aliens that is almost never explored, so I thought it would be cool if an alien communicated in its own language _the whole time_ and tried to reach a mutual understanding with a human.

Like, what if Lapide used simple words that translated directly into English, and you could figure out what she's saying if you think hard enough? He also theorizes how alien civilizations are likely to act based on evolutionary filters (you need a moon to create 'little pools of hot and cold' as Darwin said to get cellular life, you need environmental variables like certain quantities of oxygen, (too much and you get dinosaurs too little and you get nothing. So basically talking to a real alien would result in a barrage of society, culture, tech, planetary variable, alien history, politics, economics, technology, governmental, scientific, etc questions from a super geek. (His mom is an electrical engineer and his dad is a quantum physicist and he grew up on scifi, and he's named after Isaac Arthur, a scifi author who wrote the 3 laws of robotics and Arthur C.
