This is exactly what I was waiting for. 10s will be my next upgrade once they possibly go on sale. Hopefully the battery life from the 7s is a bit better. Only thing I hate about the wireless earbuds.

Great review! One question on the elite 8 active, are they loud enough for when you're in a gym or some other loud environment? I've seen multiple comments stating the maximum volume is too quiet
I will say the Elite 8 Active is probably the best at fitting my ear. Sadly I had to get some SpinFit tips with adapters to get them to fit, but once I found my combo (I think it's the CP1025 tips with the extenders that I did have to trim with scissors) they fit every time with no issues and no slipping. And the ANC/transparency work quite nicely. For audio quality I find them just fine and the multipoint is quite handy. Like before the ANC is pretty good but transparency can be improved. I can hear others just fine but listening to myself talk sounds like I have my fingers in my ears. A bit annoying but manageable. One feature I would have liked is a low latency mode, while fine on my Chromecast and Switch, playing games on my phone like COD does have a delay. All in all I love mine and with some tweaking, they're the best headphones and earbuds I've ever had.
Sorry Aaron, have to correct you here 🙂. But, tried the anc on and off right now with the 85t and have to admit that there's a remarkable difference, really ! So there has been and still is an existing and useful anc in previous Jabra models, as surely it'll be with the actual editions. That said not only because off having a pair of the old ones.... Anyway, appreciate your content 👍. People as listeners seem do be different some how 😄.
@@aaronloudnwireless okay, this certainly can be. Can't judge, never owned or listened to them. But if you say like this, it'll be true. You've tested such a lot off them 🙂.
Ive had the 75t's since release and i lived them, but since they have starting to have battery issues and wear and tear i just got the elite 10's. The passive dampening on the 75t is better than the elite 10, but the heartrough on the elite 10 sounds much clearer and the ANC i more comfortable. If the elite 10 would isolate more sound they would be the best true wireless earbuds out there i think. But overall so far i love them and the way they fit in my ears are magical, i have several times forgotten that i have them in cause i cant feel them 🤣
Hi Aaron, just watched a few videos on your channel as i finished this one. I even think that the latest jabra's are even better for calling as the nothing air 2... I like the Jabra 8 Active clearness and intensity more.. more clearly 😊
Quick question: I mainly use my/any mobile headphones for Audiobooks. Would you say the 8 or 10 would be better for listening to Audiobook during work/walks?
Been following Aaron X Loud and Wireless from a long time and really love the reviews - objective and informative and covers a wide range of products. Idk if you’ll see this but keep up the good work Aaron!
Great video. I was just wandering how much better the sound is on the elite 8 than the elite 4. Obvious big price difference I’ll go with the 8 if they are that much better.
I own the linkbuds S but I'm currently sidelining them. Disappointing bass, cheap build, glitchy connection (maybe I had some bad luck here) and only IPX4, which means not enough for gym use for me. Also, the quality of the eartip silicone sucks if you have sensitive ears like mine. They make my ears itch like crazy. That's why I've just ordered the 8 Actives, haven't tried them yet but I'm really positive they can't be worse lol
Hey Aaron how is the sound quality of Sony Xm5 (LDAC on) vs Jabra 10? No one specifically talks about Jabra sound quality considering there's no LDAC or AptX support 😢
When the Jabras finally get their MySound personalized calibration feature i would very much like for you to do a video comparing them with the Denon Perl Pro's focusing on just the sound. I like the Jabras crisp, clean sound it's very good for stuff like orchestral music for example or jazz or electronica where you want to be able to pick up fine details as opposed to just being overwhelmed by booming bass. However when it comes to overall soundstage presentation and clear instrument separation i feel the Denon Perl Pros right now are playing on another level altogether. I'd be interested in seeing if that changes when the Jabras get personalized sound.
I hated the Ellite 7 active's multipoint. Multipoint is one of the TOP things i need, since in my office I want to listen to things on my PC, also easily respond to phone calls. Multipoint on Jabra 7 is so bad, I must say it is worse than any earbuds I had ( and I had a lot). The delay on videos is 1-2 seconds on pc if multipoint is active. They are washing their hands by saying...well we guarantee only mobile devices blabla..Bro is 2023, how come that a 70 USD Earfun or Soundcore Space 40 work flawlessly in ANY circumstance regarding multipoint, and Jabra just fails... Anyway thanks for the review.
Thank you Aaron, was really waiting for your review. I'm using Elite 4 Active now - switched from Elite 7 Pro as the the former sounds so much better (I think it's due to aptx codec). Do you think Elite 8 Active sound better than 4 Active? If so, I'm not hesitating any longer as the battery worn off a bit and replacement is due.
Aaron, some reviewers are rating the battery lives of the elite 10 at 10+ hours even though they're just rated at 6... Can you please confirm ? I'll be really thankful as battery life is really important for me .
Waiting eagerly for the Bose QC Ultra to see how they hold up. The Elite 10s look really good too! Also wondering if you're going to review the Svanar Wireless sometime?
Hey aaron! I've just bought these bad boys a week back & since then I'm testing these rigorously. I pick these just because of there call quality & being the best arounder right now. The only concern that I've is battery timings. When I've tested these they gave me. Calling: Around ~5 hours on call (not a continuous call for 5 hours, its like like ~2.5-3 hours on call, rest on music or simple anc or hear through mode without music). Music: On music on/off (with anc/hear trough) I'm getting 7 hours+ timing on single charge (which is very good)! So are these a good results according to your testing or should I go for a replacement.
I have the elite 8 active and love them. I've had a few pairs of earbuds but the only other pair I still have and use as a backup is the Jabra 65Ts.. their build is top notch seriously
I just discovered your channel and I'm so glad I did. It helped me a lot to compare the sound quality of the in-ear headphones. Unfortunately, the Jabra Elite 8 Active and the Sony Link Buds S are still a bit too big for me and pinch my ear canal a lot. Do you have any tips for in-ear headphones for small ear canals that are a bit smaller than the two I tested? I've seen the Apple Ear Pods Pro, which are more of an oval shape, but I wasn't sure whether they might be even more uncomfortable. I would be grateful for your help.
Hi - just a couple of questions please. 1. For personal use - is it possible to use only one earbud - either right or left for daily use? 2. For example me and my brother wants to go jogging, can the earbuds be used in example - left earbud for him and right earbud for me - and we will connect it to a single device such as my phone and both will run?
what would you guys recommend for cycling and mainly, the gym? Obviously, the active would be the obvious choice, but it's not like I'm moving my head around a whole lot while lifting weights 🤔
Hey there!!! Is it possible that the Jabra 10 will be on sale for Black Friday? In past years, they discounted their latest models or only older products? Thanks.
Aron, may you tell if Jabra Elite 8 is better than Jabra Elite 7 active on transparency mode? I mean is J8 lets more background noise than J7 Active? 😊
I had the Beoplay Ex but returned them. While the sound quality was supreme, they were so big, bulky, uncomfortable, and I noticed no difference turning the ANC on versus Off. Also bad transparency mode. I ordered the Jabra Elite 10s and the Momtenum 3 Wireless to figure out which I'll like better. I'm tired of having stems on earbuds because of the extra pressure on the ears when side sleeping. I have a feeling I will keep the Jabras
@@CojRacer I returned the Jabras. Their fit was incredible but something about their sound was off while listening to metal. It's hard to describe but it was like the volume kept fluctuating like the sound was going in an out trying to keep up with the speed of the music. It could have been a faulty pair. I tried Technics AZ80 after and these were incredible with the vocal clarity with good bass, but it really lacked any sub bass. I returned that too and went back to the Beoplay and got new eartips for it
@@HarrySingh-z1e Thank you so much for your input. May I ask how was the anc on the jabra? And was it the most comfortable among all the earbuds you had?
@@CojRacer Jabra's were definitely most comfortable, followed by Az80 then Beoplay. ANC on the Jabra was also the best but similar to AZ80. I didn't like that you can't activate ANC on or off while in a phone call, and Jabra's were slightly annoying for phone calls as there is no sidetone
Why do all the media and TH-camrs try to convince people and convince themselves that Jabra flagships earbuds have good microphones in a noisy environment 🤔 It is clear that there is a clear improvement in the ANC compared to previous models. On the other hand, the figures put forward for the actual battery 🔋 life from one video to another are too different, some say get 6h with ANC activated, others 10h, what are the figures for actual use, not those announced by the manufacturer, but the figures on the ground? 🙏🏽 Ps: The only Jabra with decent mics are the Elite 3 and 5, just like at Sony, the LinkBuds S are better than the XM4 and XM5, strangely those who do not have the famous "voice pickup engine", the only earbuds on which this "voice pickup engine" seems to actually really work are the Huawei Freebuds Pro 1/2/3.
Hey Aaron. Off topic so I apologize a bit. Lol. I can only find foam tips for my Soundcore Liberty 4 NC's from Comply in America. That's a bit far away to bother with as I am in England. Do you know of a supplier in Europe? I will happily use an affiliate link if you have one for a European supplier? Many thanks as always.
I got the 8 Active Gen2. With Neutral sound profile listening to "I'll get over you" on Spotify they sound closest to the Elite 10 Gen1 sound sample in this video. Even the sound sample in this video sounds ever so slightly more muffled than on Spotify and a youtube video of the song.
Great honest review! I love the graphs. Keep it up. Very important for us nowadays. I wish Jabra had additional eq bands for 150Hz (or anything around that frequency) and 10kHz (or anything around 10-12kHz). A parametric eq (with high and low shelf options) would be nice. I feel the jabra 7 pro were tuned excellently. Just wish they would have used better drivers (maybe a dynamic with 2 ba driver config) for better resolution and technicalities. The technical performance is meh C- but the tonality is A+. Please jabra, better drivers (dynamic with 2 ba) and better eq support (more relevant bands or parametric eq).
I have the Jabra Elite 75t, do you think the Elite 10 is finally enough Upgrade it is time to replace my 75t? I am mostly focused on multipoint pairing, watching videos/movies, listening to music, and using noise cancelling both at home and air travel, with rare phone call usage. Thanks for your opinion.
I got the elite 8 active for my mum. It very nice, even i'm thinking of buying one for myself. The elite 10 seems good but it not as tough as elite 8 at ip68.
*A suggestion:* i think it'd be an improvement, if you halved the Y-axis of your graphs (@7:46, for example) from current -56 dB...+44 dB to more readable *-23 dB...+22 dB.* + possibly extra for comments/remarks If the curve doesn't fit to +/- 20 dB (@20 Hz...~15kHz) --> useless junk. Additionally, perhaps the _Harman Curve_ or some other _Target Curve_ could be used. Still, the most important thing is to see relative differences. As is... even +10 dB BASS (compared to 1 kHz, as usual) looks fairly insignificant. But is sure doesn't sound like it. Of course, bad fit can have a major effect to the sound and ANC, too. Also, everybody has different kind of ears and brains. The last octave (10 - 20 kHz) is the least significant. Many adults, especially 40+ ones, can't hear (anymore) 15 kHz --> huge spike thereabouts doesn't necessarily matter. On the other hand, everybody hears +15 dB in the BASS. Which ruins audiobooks etc., it it can't be tamed.
Had the75ts which were amazing until the right bud randomly stopped working, it would turn on, but the volume was almost non existent. Purchased the elite 7 pros and returned them almost instantly. Call quality in quiet rooms was heard as barely a whisper, any environment with ambient noise or wind, nobody was able to hear me. On a less important note but equally frustrating,, trying to get google assistant to work was a nightmare, so many uninstalls, reinstalls and back and forths with customer support. A truly half baked effort from jabra imo

Read that there is a promo and trade in for the new purchase of Elite 8 Active up coming on 22 September, not sure whether that will be more worth it.
You should compare all Jabra to Jabra Elite 5. Those beat mics within all Jabra lineup. I tested all models (excluding 8 and 10) and came to this conclusion
Every year I buy flagship earbuds for work related calls on the bus. Every year I am disappointed. Call quality in a noisy environment is still unacceptable.
@aaronloudnwireless can you do a new review now that Jabra has released firmware updates for, amongst others, the Jabra Elite 10? Edit: you already have made new reviews when firmware is released. Awesome!
I've tried both of these now and the Elite Active 8's are far superior in terms of staying in my ear for gym use. The sound is better in the Elite 10's, for sure, but they need to stay in my ears. YMMV.
@@TheVoyagersBlueprints Well, everyone's ears are different so they may stay in your ears. The other nice thing about the 8's are that they sit in the ear where the 10's really don't go into the canal. Some people like this some don't. It helps with the secure fit too. Both are made with similar soft-touch material.

10:18 we're in mid 2024 and there have been two firmware updates already. No sign of MySound calibration yet in the app like there was with the Elite 7 Pro that you showed.
The fit of the Elite 10 in my ear is shallow, and does not create a good seal like the other Elite models. It feels like a huge flaw compared to my Elite 3s. It's unfortunate because the drivers do sound really good. They're bright and balanced with a moderate amount of bass. Instruments are separated well in the mix, and the soundstage isn't too bad for earbuds. The Elite 10s true potential is wasted by a weak seal that does not isolate well enough. Go for one of the deeper fitting models.

The 7 pro were by far the best at call quality. Yor voice came through much better and sounded more natural
Just a brilliant comparison. Amazing and thanks for this video. 🍻🍻🍻🍻
Great review. Leaning towards both the Elite 10 and the AZ80
Great review! One question on the elite 8 active, are they loud enough for when you're in a gym or some other loud environment? I've seen multiple comments stating the maximum volume is too quiet
I think decibel ratings are an important aspect; especially for people with some hearing loss.
People as listeners seem do be different some how 😄.
th-cam.com/video/y0LXquLQvTw/w-d-xo.html All the Jabras released after 2020's 85T had weak ANC.
@@aaronloudnwireless okay, this certainly can be. Can't judge, never owned or listened to them. But if you say like this, it'll be true. You've tested such a lot off them 🙂.
Are the ANC on the 85T and the elite 10 comparable? I have the 85T for some time and looking to upgraded always felt the 85T ANC was meh
But overall so far i love them and the way they fit in my ears are magical, i have several times forgotten that i have them in cause i cant feel them 🤣
How long did you have 75t, mine is only 2 years, the right earbud is without sound after 1 song. I am struggling to get elite 10.
Hi Aaron, just watched a few videos on your channel as i finished this one. I even think that the latest jabra's are even better for calling as the nothing air 2... I like the Jabra 8 Active clearness and intensity more.. more clearly 😊
Hi Aaron, how is the fit, which one has better fit and comfort in ear?
Quick question: I mainly use my/any mobile headphones for Audiobooks. Would you say the 8 or 10 would be better for listening to Audiobook during work/walks?
Been following Aaron X Loud and Wireless from a long time and really love the reviews - objective and informative and covers a wide range of products. Idk if you’ll see this but keep up the good work Aaron!
Thank you! 😁
Great video. I was just wandering how much better the sound is on the elite 8 than the elite 4. Obvious big price difference I’ll go with the 8 if they are that much better.
Hey aaron what would you recommend elite 8 active or linkbuds s .
Or should i spend extra cash on elite 10?
I own the linkbuds S but I'm currently sidelining them. Disappointing bass, cheap build, glitchy connection (maybe I had some bad luck here) and only IPX4, which means not enough for gym use for me. Also, the quality of the eartip silicone sucks if you have sensitive ears like mine. They make my ears itch like crazy. That's why I've just ordered the 8 Actives, haven't tried them yet but I'm really positive they can't be worse lol
thank you for the page with samples!
Hey I’m in between the 8 and the 4 what conclusion did you end up with?
I found that the jabra elite 10s sound tinny, especially in the vocals. Is this a problem you have also had, or is it more of a defect?
Man I love the cream and cocoa colors.
Oh and Fiio dropped some new TWS earphones!
Hey aaron!
I've just bought these bad boys a week back & since then I'm testing these rigorously.
I pick these just because of there call quality & being the best arounder right now.
The only concern that I've is battery timings.
When I've tested these they gave me.
Calling:
Around ~5 hours on call (not a continuous call for 5 hours, its like like ~2.5-3 hours on call, rest on music or simple anc or hear through mode without music).
Music:
On music on/off (with anc/hear trough) I'm getting 7 hours+ timing on single charge (which is very good)!
So are these a good results according to your testing or should I go for a replacement.
The 10s sounded so good!
I have the elite 8 active and love them. I've had a few pairs of earbuds but the only other pair I still have and use as a backup is the Jabra 65Ts.. their build is top notch seriously
Thanks for your review! I can't wait to try them myself! Your reviews are my #1 source for Jabra reviews!
Thank you!
@@aaronloudnwireless have you set spatial sound off or on ?
Great review, good selection of top quality buds on the market now.
I ordered the Jabra elite 10, I can't wait to get them
How has it been?
thank you for your work. Is the Sound very Different from this both Models?
I just discovered your channel and I'm so glad I did. It helped me a lot to compare the sound quality of the in-ear headphones. Unfortunately, the Jabra Elite 8 Active and the Sony Link Buds S are still a bit too big for me and pinch my ear canal a lot. Do you have any tips for in-ear headphones for small ear canals that are a bit smaller than the two I tested? I've seen the Apple Ear Pods Pro, which are more of an oval shape, but I wasn't sure whether they might be even more uncomfortable. I would be grateful for your help.
Is battery life your test? Or did you quote battery life from the manufacturer? Other reviewers say the Jabra 10 lasts longer than the Jabra 8
I'm guessing the semi-open design of the Jabra 10 is a problem when it comes to cancelling human voices ?
Hi - just a couple of questions please.
1. For personal use - is it possible to use only one earbud - either right or left for daily use?
2. For example me and my brother wants to go jogging, can the earbuds be used in example - left earbud for him and right earbud for me - and we will connect it to a single device such as my phone and both will run?
Not possible
@@washeranddryer-fu2ldcourse it's possible. Stop talking nonsense and giving people false info.
Aaron. Quick question. What's the sound stage on this vs xm4? Thanks a lot. Keep good work💪👉👍
sadly no once does the "how they fit for sleeping / bed" test and can a pillow activate the controls, etc.
Awesome video! Would love to see a direct comparison of sound and call quality between Elite 10 and Sony XM5s
what would you guys recommend for cycling and mainly, the gym? Obviously, the active would be the obvious choice, but it's not like I'm moving my head around a whole lot while lifting weights 🤔
Hey there!!! Is it possible that the Jabra 10 will be on sale for Black Friday? In past years, they discounted their latest models or only older products? Thanks.
Can’t wait for the review of the new Boses. Awesome year for headphone tech.
awesome work, thank you !!
Thank you too!
jabra elite 10 vs sennheiser momentum true wireless 3.. which one better? Iam confused before buy one of it
Aron, may you tell if Jabra Elite 8 is better than Jabra Elite 7 active on transparency mode? I mean is J8 lets more background noise than J7 Active? 😊
Salut au faite il y aura pas de sortie des élite 95T pour remplacer les 85T ?
I had the Beoplay Ex but returned them. While the sound quality was supreme, they were so big, bulky, uncomfortable, and I noticed no difference turning the ANC on versus Off. Also bad transparency mode. I ordered the Jabra Elite 10s and the Momtenum 3 Wireless to figure out which I'll like better. I'm tired of having stems on earbuds because of the extra pressure on the ears when side sleeping. I have a feeling I will keep the Jabras
You ended up keeping which one?
Why do all the media and TH-camrs try to convince people and convince themselves that Jabra flagships earbuds have good microphones in a noisy environment 🤔
It is clear that there is a clear improvement in the ANC compared to previous models.
On the other hand, the figures put forward for the actual battery 🔋 life from one video to another are too different, some say get 6h with ANC activated, others 10h, what are the figures for actual use, not those announced by the manufacturer, but the figures on the ground?
🙏🏽
Ps: The only Jabra with decent mics are the Elite 3 and 5, just like at Sony, the LinkBuds S are better than the XM4 and XM5, strangely those who do not have the famous "voice pickup engine", the only earbuds on which this "voice pickup engine" seems to actually really work are the Huawei Freebuds Pro 1/2/3.
Great review. (I agree with your Twitter comment lol)
Haha thanks 😁
for me the real advantage for buying jabra 10 is sound quality, any other are somehow the same .
Elite 7 has far superior call quality. Lets through a bit more noise, but the voice is far more natural.
You may need to check your data. The Elite 8s have Dolby Audio, and the Elite 10s have Dolby Atmos, they are close but not the same.
I stand corrected!
Hey what did you end up doing? I’m in the same situation with my 75t breaking down so I’m looking to replace them with another jabra edition
Really looking forward to this video. Let's see if yheyre better than yhe Sony WF-1000xm5
I got the elite 8 active for my mum. It very nice, even i'm thinking of buying one for myself. The elite 10 seems good but it not as tough as elite 8 at ip68.
*A suggestion:* i think it'd be an improvement, if you halved the Y-axis of your graphs (@7:46, for example)
from current -56 dB...+44 dB
to more readable *-23 dB...+22 dB.* + possibly extra for comments/remarks
If the curve doesn't fit to +/- 20 dB (@20 Hz...~15kHz) --> useless junk.
Very good input. Thanks
A truly half baked effort from jabra imo
this video is so well made!
Hello, Would you recommend the Elite 8 Active over the Elite 7 Active if the Elite 7 Active is at half the price of the Elite 8 Active at the moment?

Hi, if you're still looking definitely get the Jabras. JBLs earbuds arent really it.

Sound quality wise, the Elite 7 Pro sounded the best to me. Call quality not so much
Aaron I am here to find out about the quick fox ❤❤❤
Every year I buy flagship earbuds for work related calls on the bus. Every year I am disappointed. Call quality in a noisy environment is still unacceptable.
@aaronloudnwireless can you do a new review now that Jabra has released firmware updates for, amongst others, the Jabra Elite 10? Edit: you already have made new reviews when firmware is released. Awesome!
I've tried both of these now and the Elite Active 8's are far superior in terms of staying in my ear for gym use. The sound is better in the Elite 10's, for sure, but they need to stay in my ears. YMMV.
This is my only concern. I love all the specs of the Elite 10's but I'm worried about them falling out at the gym or on a run.
I'm going to best buy to exchange my elite 10 (keep falling out of my ear ) for the elite 8
The 10 sound amazing , I hope I'm not gonna be disappointed with 8 sound
@@dariov5288 sounds still good. Just a different audio profile. I also think the 8's go louder.

I use the sony wf-1000xm3 and the first gen ipod pro's, i think about getting the linkbuds s or the samsung buds2 pro or jabra elite 10. what would you recommend?
Jabra 10 Elite, hands down.
great review helped me make a decision! active 8 it is ! its best for both worlds, will help me on my treks and runs and work travel
Merci d'avance ❤👍👍👍
Why is the volume sound of these two so thin? My Sony XM5 sounds louder, and Jabra 4 sounds thumpier
A real test... But, previous models are not good to cancel wind and noise background and it seems a kind of technology backward .
I have the elite 85t and the ANC was actually quite good.
I quite enjoy with sony linkbud s for all around genre. I think my hearing taste similiars with yours. Can i enjoy elite 10? Or better with elite 8 active? Hearing the sound sample from ur video, i think i like the elite 10. What do you recommend more? Thnk u

Hello, do you know if the Jabra Elite 8 Active have better ANC than Beats fit pro?
Sir in picking the best earbuds which has active ANC,battery and sound quality from all the these options like airpods,Jabra, soundcore, bose etc no budget included.give me some top 5/10 options I really need one very badly
Did you try putting the 10's in the case for the 8's? If it works, you can order a case for the 8's separate.
Does the Atmos work with WebOS smart TVs? Like for Netflix?
I'll have to test that
