Ah yes, I grew up with an organ at home so I always played without shoes so now on gigs I have to take the shoe off otherwise feet too wide and I can't feel my way around. Depends on tempo anyway, most players do most of the bass work with the left hand and tap certain notes on the foot to give the sound more attack. Up to "medium up" tempos I double both, something I started doing on gigs because some leslies don't have a lot of low end and the drummer wasn't hearing well the bass. Left hand achieves the longer note while the bass pedal gives a nice punchy accent. You can see me doing it, with the shoe off :0) in this video th-cam.com/video/fsfA4GCYql0/w-d-xo.html
Great smooth
How do you feel about playing bass lines on pedals? Too much? I feel like my feet are too wide to play that fast lol.
