Kaliko's voice is soooo damn dynamic. He can do so many different things. He can do sing-songy type hooks or he can do hooks like this. Freaking amazing.
Ive seen Yates 7 times. Met him twice, huge following in Seattle. Seen him go through alot, from anghellic and absolute through Killer. The special thing with Yates that separates him from any other hip hop or rap artist is his heart and independence. He stayed true to his style despite the criticism. And he was the most toured artist behind Jay z... Indie... So, Im not god and Im no MC so Im not here to compare Tech to Eminem or anyone else. All I have to say is this. You want to find out why Yates is who he is, stand on the railing of the upper level at the Moore Theater and have him put his hand out towards you while he spits This Ring Live. A lot of rappers sound dope on you tube or ipod. Its a rare breed whom can put it down on a stage and do it for real. Miss me with computerized garbage. Show me what you can do on stage with a mic. And that where Yates is truly King.
still fuckin bumpin, its too dope... Im techincian since K.O.D. and im still suprising how tech music can help me with dark days. Big up from Poland we are still here and we are still waiting for next concert ^S^
I'm a fan of music, period. From Lil Wayne to DMX to Tim McGraw. Tech N9ne has some of the best MUSIC I've ever heard, hands down. Lyrically, the beats, the tone of the songs, how everything comes together to match the focus of the song...it's unmatched. And this is coming from the dirty, dirty South...Louisiana!
tech n9ne is a fucking beast his songs are badass and can relate to a lot of people's lives whether he tries to or not but that's just how I feel like if u feel the same way.
His sadder/deeper songs always remind me of the interlude in Torrid: "My pain lessens theirs because it puts who they put on a pedestal on a level playing field with them." I'd never wish what he's gone through on anyone, but it helps to know that he's willing to share his hardships with us and to be able to relate to what he's feeling instead of him just playing it off like he's a happy go lucky rich celebrity like most others do. It's easier to relate to celebs when they show that they're relateable
Wow Aaron!!!! Please visit Southern Oregon once again. Your intensity is on a level I have not seen perhaps ever. You truly personiify E.B.A.H. yes you do. 🤔.... ♑❤❤❤❤❤
Went to this concert at red rocks, Colorado native here. This song hits different up in my hills, the beat reverberates off the mountains and it's so much more powerful than what you hear on the track. Best concert I've seen at red rocks!!!!
Nolan Johnson It has some classics on it, but Absolute Power had Tech at his best in all facets. Plus it had Tech actually dissing people BY NAME!!! which is pretty much unheard of since
Tech...you are my ABSOLUTE favorite rapper outta them ALL... YOU speak to my mind and I feel your words in my SOUL...especially when you talk about your mother and how she is the UTMOST SPECIAL PERSON THAT YOU HAVE EVER KNOWN OR WILL KNOW AGAIN...and when she died A LOT of your HUMANITY died with HER...I feel you...TRULY...and I may not have had all the same life experiences like you but I know EXACTLY how it feels when EVERYTHING is trying to keep you locked down in an existence that you and your family just CAN'T make it in...I'm so sorry for the loss of your mother...and how nothing you could do could help her...again...I feel you 😢...thank you for EVERYTHING you have done and EVERY song you have done...and EVERYTHING you WILL CONTINUE to do and EVERY song that that you will do that will speak to sooo many people...REALLY and TRULY THANK YOU
i someways always hear this song when ive dranka fith of vodka and it justmakes me so damn grateful and at the same time makes me feel emotions i cant explain... i love TechN9Ne
Damn, been a fan for 22yrs+ and met ya backstage in 2003 at GOTJ for a pic. Thanks bro, for an amazing memory and your amazing music. Has gotten me thru many tough times, including now.
Deysi Rojo Tech, Krizz Kaliko & Jelly Roll are exceptionally good at writing tracks that helps people through tough times! I give the three of them the credit for me not having taken my life! Jelly Roll especially
One of my favorite songs of all time, by THE most criminally overlooked talent in hip-hop. Incredible respect for this man - pure inspiration. Fist in the air for Strange Music!
Every now and then I get on here and have tech marathon days going back and listening to all those first albums and songs that got me hooked. And this one always hits me just as it did the first time I heard it. I was homeless and man talk about low. I was simply erased from my life. My 2 sisters, who knew me better than anyone; having spent 30+ years right by my side, turned their backs on me without so much as a reason. They have not cared if I am dead or alive ever since. But tech and Krizz wrote my pain and I have gotten to know them both and we have had some really deep conversations. They are well aware how their music affects us and they are honored to know it. Technicians connect on many levels but one thing is for sure; our pain is expressed through their music. Our pain may come from different places but doesnt pain = pain = pain, right?!!! That's why I started Tech n9ne talk on Fb. Because when we share a lil of our pain we find out that we are not alone, and that is Validating. Love you guys.
Tech has dozens and dozens of incredible songs, but this one has got to top them all for me. When you get chills at the end after listening to a song over a hundred times, you got artists doin' something right.
between 0:50 and 1:10 the song skips a little, i thought it was just my cd till i noticed it every single time on any version ive ever listend to. wonder why
Tech is honestly the best out there. I see some people saying he doesn't come close to eminem, but honestly em isn't in the same atmosphere as tech. If em was so dope he wouldn't put out so many garbage albums. Yeah he has some dope songs and all that and has done a lot for the game and all but at the same time he has released absolute trash... As long as I've listened to tech, I've never heard anything bad from him. He is as solid as an artist comes and no one else has been able to match it.. That's just my opinion though
This song will always be a banger. Still bumping it almost 14 years later.
Feb 2024 and this is still the best
April 24th 2024

Chewy tech don't ever get old
Kaliko's voice is soooo damn dynamic. He can do so many different things. He can do sing-songy type hooks or he can do hooks like this. Freaking amazing.
The lyrics, the instrumentals, the vibe and that Kali hook. This is such a masterpiece...
Yea
masterpiece...yes
Trash
Probably his best. I think it's a tie between this and Red Nose for me.
the chorus is soothing but haunting at the same time and it sounds amazing. Love when krizz sings and has that deep low end voice
2023 and still breathtaking
"It's easy to sin when you're bleeding within " deep af
Mike Hill its true
or "it's easy to win when you're believing within"
Better Go Go my Lord Jesus Christ and follow him, He will Help U, although i Like techs music its prolly a sin 2 listen 2 His music cause Tech
IS either fighting with His faith or More likely has alrdy given in to the Devil and sorround himself with demons
@@Beennoo12 idgaf what you think is a sin littel one

The Tech N9ne Holy Trinity
Absolute Power
Everready
K.O.D.
Sickology 101
How is Anghellic not in the Holy Trinity? I do agree that Absolute Power was a bit better but Anghellic goes with the theme lol
Nolan Johnson It has some classics on it, but Absolute Power had Tech at his best in all facets. Plus it had Tech actually dissing people BY NAME!!! which is pretty much unheard of since
Steve Phipps And Sickology 101 is his best Collabos project I think by far. But I dont feel right including it in a conversation with his solo albums
Ya true. Yada Yada Yada was great.
this is actually one of my fave of tech cause he is actually talkin bout that real shit
Tech...you are my ABSOLUTE favorite rapper outta them ALL...
