- Meta Runner was an amazing indie series created as Glitch Production's very first animated series project. But unbeknownst to many, SMG4 and Glitch have been handling its existence very poorly. In this video, Matt delves into why that might be.

As big of a Murder Drones fan I am, I agree with all of your criticisms on it. The pacing is all over the place and the tension in some suspenseful scenes would just be killed by a joke. Not to mention the inconsistent tone.
basically, smg4 tari is the variant of teen titans go starfire a bit, just like tari from the original series being as similar as the teen titans version too
From what I know smg4 tari appeared before metarunner tari

Why
I still waiting for a season 2...
The problems have since been resolved. The only reason why the situation escalated quickly was because of Robyn overreacting to the situation and Celeste pestering the CEO of Glitch for confidential information to be released to the public. And also they got doxxed by one of Robyn's stans. Robyn has refused to make a comment on the subject matter despite having escalated the situation with the help of some really ignorant individuals such as myself.

Yea the nerve of her nagging them for lack of communication and essentially getting ghosted. How dare she try to feed her family 😂
@@thanosthemadtitan9065 she could have asked for the answers in a private DM; we don't need to know confidential information, it doesn't need to be for everyone's eyes
Pretty sure she did dm them, hence the whole BEING GHOSTED part of the story
She only spoke out when she needed to clear up the misconception that she was too busy to voice act

6:21 Ok not gonna be rude But while i do agree with the prom but with the cabin it was litterally explained why they are there the teacher says yeah uzi's idea and then after a bit N says No sneaking off to go investigate which means the reason they came here is because uzi wants to investigate the area
This is why I will always call Meta runner my favorite glitch series if not indie series overall. Sure Murder drones and TADC were hyped, but I'd rather respect my elders and appreciate the older series, just like the OG powerpuff girls, Tamagotchi, the original Thomas and friends, Pingu, heck even some of the old super sentai, kamen rider, precure and other shows I grew up watching
(Except Peppa pig. That show is a pink stain on my childhood)
just pay attention to what the characters say in murder drones and you might be able to understand the cabin fever episode
also im pretty sure the prom episode was to make doll a bigger antagonist rather then being a background character

Yea Murder Drones is by no means horrible, but ngl it’s super overrated. Overshadowed Meta big time

Pretty sure they were both always Celeste, unless there was someone else involved in the reused SMG4 lines…

Ok so I loved murder drones and just adore it and also was a big fan of meta runner but your opinions about how you don’t enjoy murder drones are very valid!
Man you got beef with MD like what did it do to you? glitch gave MR the good amount of spotlight it needed, and next they move on to more new and bigger project, without MD, glitch would’ve not been this successful and popular, it’s the show that’s got them to the spotlight, and TADC would’ve not existed without MD, they moved on they don’t have to keep working on MR and given it a season 4 or some sh*t like that, and also your opinion on MD it’s horrible, saying MD has no passion is the stupidest thing I have ever heard, and it doesn’t mean if you don’t like it, it has no passion, and i’m just gonna say that’s just your opinion, I don’t agree with it but if you don’t like the show that’s fine, but saying it has less passion then MR is an absolute lie, and yes the whole VA situation is understandable and I agree with you, but the MD one is absolutely horrible.
Edit: I know MD is not perfect, I have a lot of flaws with it, i’m just saying it because I don’t want people to see me as an obsessive fan that doesn’t like criticism.

@@EndermanInASuit7 if he likes MR more than why did he make an entire segment saying “MD killed MR”, if he likes MR more then MD that’s fine, but complaining that one of the main reasons why MR is not treated well because MD is more popular is one of the stupidest things I have ever heard, I understand the VA part, and if the entire video was just about that I would be fine, but no, it’s also MDs fault.

@@The_gaslight_district_Fanboy But that's the thing. MD *is* more popular than MR, and it's just a smart business decision to focus more on that. MR is the only one of their shows which required outside funding, after which everything else sort of carried itself. MD was built on the foundation MR created, and they're both amazing.

It can be all over the place, but so can just about every series ever, but what’s your opinion on the animations in the battles?
