Ya, it's nice, it even turns my TV on and switches the input on it's own. Which I guess modern TVs can let a device do that now. I just pick up the controller and sit down and that's it, the tiny button isn't an issue. Now what I don't like is the little card slot flap, Idk it just feels a bit cheap and bugs me, but that doesn't effect anything really.
James' "technical issue" just sounds like the power cable wasn't plugged into the dock properly. If only the system is powering on when it's docked, it means the dock isn't receiving power. His power cable probably just came a bit loose and it was reconnected properly when he did his "unplug and replug everything" thing.
I seriously never have problems with any of this. My Switch is the easiest console I have to move from room to room (even with the dock), an even when I put in a cabinet stuffed with a receiver or in a small cubby, I don't have problems with hardware issues

Most of the music was just ripped straight from Harmony of Despair, though, which didn't have very good remixes to begin with. Simon and Richter definitely kick ass, but the music didn't have much effort put into it.

There is a graphic difference to the Wii U Version. It's an upgrade from 720p to 1080p, crisper colors and way better anti aliasing. I would also love a new Mario Kart. But it really looks a lot better on Switch
I would incorporate some of the stuff from Tour, such as certain characters, karts, and gliders have certain benefits on certain stages. I know not many people like that game, but I play it more than deluxe.
MarioKart 7 and DS are criminally underrated games. No one talks about them. Yet DS had a better battle mode than MarioKart 64. Also it's the only game still that has tracks with cork screws and a track with a full loop-de-loop in it.

The Animal Crossing: New horizons on Nintendo Switch has some dumbfounded limitations that may not be liked: One island per console (could be considered one save slot). Playing more people on one console at the same time, there is only ONE leader who can make all the important choices. Online multiplayer requires knowing people.
People who bitch about the pro controller d pad should just admit they're bad at games. I consistently place top 10 in Tetris 99 with it. Been playing that since day 1
I am a Zangief guy. I get that he's kinda tough to get the hang of and some of the games didn't take advantage of him very well but in many he's an ultra powerful character in the hands of an expert.
I'm a Zangief guy too. I gravitate towards grapplers in fighting games in general, like Jeffry in Virtua Fighter and Astaroth in SoulCalibur. It's very satisfying to destroy your opponents with them.

The graphics upgrade between the Wii U and Switch is only a minor, think Gamecube > Wii. However the CPU and Ram upgrade allows a whole host of third party games (like Civ and city skyline's) to come to the platform which would never have been possible otherwise with the Wii U.

Then you must've not held many controllers in your hand. The PS4 controller is a lot more comfortable and the Xbox One X is so robust and good. The switch controller feels like it's about to break in my hand and given that it's made by nintendo I expect it to break and not work anymore every time I play a game. Meanwhile my 4-5 years old controllers for my other controllers and PC are going great.

Wii version and switch version are completely different as in car stat wise and stuff but the biggest difference is that the switch version does not have the mini turbo glitch.
When will you ever touch the Dock again? It's a one time thing. You plug the Cables in and that's it. And when will you touch the Power Button? Wake it with the Home Button like all the other mentioned consoles. No gamer has to walk to the console anymore, that's THE invention of newer times. Everyone complains about things which make your life easier.

Yeah, I was using my girlfriends Switch. And then I have a GameCube controller adpapter plugged into the USB on the Switch. From there, I have a Gamecube to SNES adapter cable. So that I can play Mario Kart 8 with and original SNES controller. Thanks for watching - Mike
It's odd - the FF7 remake has also made me realise recently how much I don't want to play games that frustrate or annoy me. I like a challenge, but one that builds up gradually.
Mount Wario is my favorite track in the game too. For Mario Kart 9, I would love an "Ultimate" Edition with tons of characters across all Mario games and then some of the guests. I would love more tracks that aren't the same lap 3 times too. Another thing to add would be custom Grand Prix - choose 4 tracks and design your own cup using trophy shapes and logos related to Mario.
Nintendo needs to ask Sega how to make a console, they've been making trash since the Gamecube. If it wasn't for the Gameboy, Nintendo should have been done after the SNES.
7:23-7:48- I never had that problem with my Nintendo Switch. 🤨 I never got a Wii U. I got Dreamcast, PS4, PSVITA and Switch instead. Wish I got this game. When I was purchasing my Switch, I was choosing between Mario Kart 8 and Super Smash Bros. Ultimate. In the end, I got Smash Bros. Ultimate. However, my siblings actually approved of it. I actually have a problem with my Left JoyCon right now. I've never owned a Movie Projector or a movie on a film strip.
7:30 That sounds like a power supply problem. Either the surge protector you got it plugged into or a weak / damaged cable inside the dock as to not fully carry the charge, if that frayed or damaged inside the cable it can add resistance or be spotty like a pair of headphones that cut in and out on you. or also possibly a dirty contact on the switch/dock part, toothbrush (soft long bristle) and some rubbing alcohol can clean out if it's got some debris stuck up in there. I would assume it's a cable issue before concluding it was the switch itself. Because the switch is supposed to let you freely connect or disconnect it, even while powered on.
Never had a single problem with my switch, im not rough with it. My dock doesnt move. And press and hold the home button to turn it on. Check your settings if its off

The only problem I’ve had with the switch all encompassing, are the joy cons. THEY DONT WORK HALF THE TIME. It’s so hard to play with them. Even after I sent them to get fixed.
While I never had the Wii U, I can understand how these remasters of Wii U titles are middle fingers to those who had it already, since tweaks aside, very seldom does it offer much in the extras department. To be honest, that's what made Windwaker and Twilight Princess HD very bittersweet for me... Because I played and loved both on the Gamecube... And the changes to me weren't all that impactful looking at it on Wii U. However, one thing I WILL give it though... is that the Switch did what the Wii U AIMED to do in making it versatile between the TV and the Wii U pad... only confined to the home space. But I guess Nintendo acknowledged their failure and used the handheld as a basis with the OPTION of playing it on the TV, similar to what many clone consoles attempt to do (and I think the PSP technically did... just with composite video, because handheld).
Since the throttle is depressed through the entire turn, the slides in Mariokart are drifts. Powersliding is another name for intertia-drift, which as the name implies is all inertia after you brake rear traction.
The dock needs some sort of support underneath it because If you keep it on a table or something, it’s just incredibly easy to knock over off. I keep mine on the floor because I’m afraid I’ll knock it off.

When they released a DLC with over 20 courses, I realized that Nintendo are NEVER gonna make another Mario Kart.

Wii version and switch version are completely different as in car stat wise and stuff but the biggest difference is that the switch version does not have the mini turbo glitch.

When will you ever touch the Dock again? It's a one time thing. You plug the Cables in and that's it. And when will you touch the Power Button? Wake it with the Home Button like all the other mentioned consoles. No gamer has to walk to the console anymore, that's THE invention of newer times.

Switch isn’t supposed to be some huge generational leap graphically. It’s just supposed to be slightly better and most importantly, portable. And if you judge it as a portable console, it is quite impressive.

Yeah, I was using my girlfriends Switch. And then I have a GameCube controller adpapter plugged into the USB on the Switch. From there, I have a Gamecube to SNES adapter cable. So that I can play Mario Kart 8 with and original SNES controller. Thanks for watching - Mike

Mount Wario is my favorite track in the game too. For Mario Kart 9, I would love an "Ultimate" Edition with tons of characters across all Mario games and then some of the guests. I would love more tracks that aren't the same lap 3 times too. Another thing to add would be custom Grand Prix - choose 4 tracks and design your own cup using trophy shapes and logos related to Mario.

Wish I got this game. When I was purchasing my Switch, I was choosing between Mario Kart 8 and Super Smash Bros. Ultimate. In the end, I got Smash Bros. Ultimate. However, my siblings actually approved of it.

7:30 That sounds like a power supply problem. Either the surge protector you got it plugged into or a weak / damaged cable inside the dock as to not fully carry the charge, if that frayed or damaged inside the cable it can add resistance or be spotty like a pair of headphones that cut in and out on you. or also possibly a dirty contact on the switch/dock part, toothbrush (soft long bristle) and some rubbing alcohol can clean out if it's got some debris stuck up in there.
I would assume it's a cable issue before concluding it was the switch itself. Because the switch is supposed to let you freely connect or disconnect it, even while powered on.
Never had a single problem with my switch, im not rough with it. My dock doesnt move. And press and hold the home button to turn it on. Check your settings if its off

understand how these remasters of Wii U titles are middle fingers to those who had it already, since tweaks aside, very seldom does it offer much in the extras department. To be honest, that's what made Windwaker and Twilight Princess HD very bittersweet for me... Because I played and loved both on the Gamecube... And the changes to me weren't all that impactful looking at it on Wii U.
However, one thing I WILL give it though... is that the Switch did what the Wii U AIMED to do in making it versatile between the TV and the Wii U pad... only confined to the home space. But I guess Nintendo acknowledged their failure and used the handheld as a basis with the OPTION of playing it on the TV, similar to what many clone consoles attempt to do (and I think the PSP technically did... just with composite video, because handheld).

Since the throttle is depressed through the entire turn, the slides in Mariokart are drifts. Powersliding is another name for intertia-drift, which as the name implies is all inertia after you brake rear traction.

The dock needs some sort of support underneath it because If you keep it on a table or something, it’s just incredibly easy to knock over off.
