I'd be happy for the storm to lose every game but everyone except the bunker could see that was a try.
i didn’t watch the game just that one little glimpse in this video i thought maybe it was short when the ball hit the ground but haven’t seen it from a closer or different angle so could be wrong
@@xpsylentzer_8039 The slow mo from the first angle showed it pretty clearly. It's one of those "Yes the players arm means you can't see the contact point, but to suggest it didn't hit the ground, it's one of those ignore physics type things and say "Yeah but we couldn't actually see it so, 🤷♂️"

Panthers fan here. They'll be up for the occasion next week. Empty stadium and rubbish bunnies team doesn't really help. Next week will be the real litmus test for both teams. Minor Prem up for grabs too.

He was never known for his top end speed, it’s his acceleration that makes him dangerous, like Walsh.

Ryan's danger is his acceleration. Being quick over 20 is far better for sports than top end speed

Games have got to played at smaller grounds or in the dark. The top team against a team playing for everything and it looks like they were playing back in 2021

Home team with no hope of making the finals playing the top team in too large a stadium on a cold, damp Thursday night (I guess!)
NRL has very few people who bother to go to matches.
Also, the team to population ratio is much lower in Australia. There are two NFL franchises in Texas, population 30,000,000 and it's the dominant sport. There are 16 NRL teams in Australia, population 26 million, and half the population follows a different code of football. There are nine teams just in Sydney, population 5 million, because the league started as a Sydney suburban comp. If they were designing the league from scratch there would be 12 teams and only three would be in Sydney.

@ 2:24 souths put a mid field bomb in the air . By the time its caught Storm already had 4 players behind the 30m line …. did Souths look at the defensive line or as I said motions…..

Pretty expected result. Bit of a boring game because of it. Tuned out at halftime. It's been a problem with NRL for a long time now. You know who's going to win less than 20 minutes in most of the time
