I was digging this EP more than anything else I'd heard in a while and I never liked Chelsea Grin much, they always had this immature Deathcore sound imo.. Like the vocalist couldn't actually do any of his vocals live kind of a thing, I don't know how to describe it but this song and don't ask don't tell were amazing songs. Next album? The only thing I could stand listening to more than like once was "LET'S BURN THIS BASTARD TO THE GROUND!" Because.. Well for obvious reasons. Shit was awesome/hilarious.
So much originality in this song. I have never heard of a Deathcore style like this. The atmosphere is one of a kind AND it maintains heaviness. Alex's vocals are great and this mixes beautifully into this masterpiece. I hope to see more of this on the new album!

But then you get to the chorus and your like hot digity dam dude! and whats even better is that if you go to look at some of the live versions, the drummer sings the chorus as well as drumming at the same time. its very cool i reccomend looking at the bloomington ones.

this ep is called evolve so that means it will sound different, get over yourselves, let them experiment, if you want the same album every time go listen to whitechapel (jk I haven't heard much of their stuff but I liked what I did hear) or more specifically Metallica.
I personally think they improved, I have known them since their first EP and I liked every album from them but this shows they actually know how to play guitar instead of repetitive chugging. And I also like Alex's singing voice... Kinda miss the pig squeals though.
