yess, totally, I would be so happy! And I really want to learn how to make a Jeo-Gori as well. Many Hanboks use such delicate and beautiful fabric that you cannot even get over here in Europe. I wonder where to buy them for a relatively cheap price in Seoul. Last time I was there I didn't get to check it out ;'(

Hanbok is so beautiful to me. The ones you both picked out were so pretty, i love all the details and think its pretty rad that you can get in free when you wear it to the palace. The traditional vest was my probably my favorite detail, sooo cuttteee.

I was doing a DTV marathon and I've only watched this for the 1st time. I missed the chance to rent a hanbok when I went there in Gyeongbokgung Palace, 'cause we actually dont know where to rent 😂 but I got the chance to take a pic with girls on a hanbok

I had tried on one too with super bold colors when I had visited Seoul! Looked soooo chic! My first thought when wearing it was "I can eat sooooo much and nobody will notice anything mwahahhahahahhahaha!" (Ok, I admit that the corset part was maybe not well adjusted haha!).

It would be wonderful if you could make a hanbok or a hanbok-ispired dress. Hanboks are beautiful, but I can't afford it, and it would be difficult to just find a place where I could get one from. So the only option for me is to make one, but it seems quite difficult and I couldn't find a perfect tutorial :(
I've never made traditional clothing (except Hungarian folk-clothing (is it called that? I'm not sure lol): a pair of skirts and aprons), but I really want to try it.
And you have to check the traditional Hungarian clothes (the clothes are different in different regions), I think the most beautiful ones are from Kalocsa (the embriodery is iconic), Kalotaszeg, and Sárköz. It can be a good inspiration, and google can help you :D
I hope I can visit Korea one day, I feel like I'm watching a completely different world through videos. Thank you for this experience :)

Oh my God thank you for asking this question. I know a lot of people take the concept of cultural appropriation to indicate that you can't wear clothing of another culture's ever - instead of its intended meaning, as in trivialization of important cultural pieces (RE: anyone besides those who earned them wearing war bonnets at music festivals).
I think I'd be a little scared to take pictures in a hanbok, but they are beautiful.
Sahar Hasan I wouldn't mind at all as long as it's worn correctly and respectfully. 😁
If it's worn correctly, there is no problem at all. Most Koreans really like to see foreigners in it and if you go to certain traditional events it is actually expected of you as well. However if you wear a Halloween style costume with a hashtag like "hot korean geisha" or something, it will most likely give you some backlash.
I think you should consider bringing the traditional clothes and mixing them with the modern clothes in your way. You can make it a trend.
ohhh💖 we found out that there's actually several designers (for online shops) who are making these traditional clothing into somewhat wearable for modern days :) so beautiful!
