Tbh, the “I don’t wanna wait” for the dark brown clay is totally me. I hate waiting to finish a project and would rather make do with something else or change the project than wait for more supplies!
I think you can also use chalk pastels or a tiny bit of acrylic paint for colouring polymer clay if you want… You have to be careful about adding too much paint or it can stop the clay from baking properly but it does colour it too!
Yup! I’m always afraid of using paint, but I did know about the chalk pastels! But I didn’t have any on hand which is why I resorted to using eyeshadow :,)

Hey tiff!! I know you’ve been still working with Polymer clay, so I just wanted to leave a Tipp because this has helped me imensly with making my charms more sturdy: after baking, take a bowl and fill it with ice cold water and put the charms in directly after you take them out of the oven. After a few minutes, they will literally be as hard as a rock. This can also be bad if the clay breaks but mine are also sometimes a bit bendy but still sturdy. I hope I could help :)
Hey Tiff, I recommend using a dremel tool or an electric nail file thing, that's what I use to sand! It sti takes forever but it makes it sooooo much easier!

Be careful with washing the hoodie! Find something to iron onto the back to make sure the strings don’t untie or anything. Happened to me once and it was so disappointing 🥺

@@TiffanyWeng I use “fusible non-woven interfacing” you can find it on Amazon for cheap and you just iron it so I hope that helps!

I was wondering since I’ve never heard of it, but how do you bake your pieces in multiple steps without burning the previously baked parts?
I‘ve seen clay discolor when it’s in the oven for too long 😕

You can use clay softener or baby oil to smooth the surface of the clay before baking.
