- (Day One) In today's video we travel out to Pigeon Forge, Tennessee to visit Dollywood for our first time. We don't waste anytime going around the park and trying all of the iconic food throughout the theme park. We take you all around to show you our first reaction to everything and we give some good tips for anyone else who plans to visit Dollywood. It was also the first day of the Christmas festivities at Dollywood so we got a chance to enjoy some Christmas around the park, we ride Tennessee tornado. We finish a little early and we give our first thoughts and opinions of our experience so far. Thank you so much to the amazing team at Dollywood for having us out. Dollywood is now officially on my bucket list and yes, purely for the food.
Watching this video was a little bittersweet for me. My dad passed away three years ago, my mother this past August and we used to go to Dollywood when I was in college. My mother used to camp out in front of a food cart waiting for the fried green tomatoes. And, she would always bring a bag of pork rinds home. 😄One of my favorite pictures taken with my dad was taken there. Also, my mother had wanted to go back this year to experience Christmas at Dollywood/Pigeon Forge. Although bittersweet, I cherish those memories. Thank you for the video.
I’m going in November with my daughter and her family. I can’t wait to make memories there with my Grandbabies! Our first time there together!
My mouth literally dropped wide open when the lady cutting the pie picked up the piece to put it in the box. I did not expect the pie to be that deep! Wow. Looks amazing

At first, I thought $18.99 / slice. Then I saw it! Wow.
Same I was like no, you got me messed up. But that was like a whole regular pies worth of a slice.
Oh man I had to stop my self from licking the monitor all that food looked soo good! Dollywood certainly looks entertaining!

I know exactly what you mean about the different vibe there compared to here in Florida. I absolutely loved Dollywood. It reminds me of the old school theme park but bigger. Everyone is so friendly from the hosts to the visitors there. It’s just a different relaxing pace overall. My son’s even noticed it to. Hope you both enjoy the rest of your lil getaway ❤️
I've lived in Tennessee my whole life and haven't made it up to Dollywood, but after watching this that is definitely going to change. So glad you got to come up here and visit!
The International Festival in the Spring is a great time to go. They bring in acts from all over the world. And Halloween is spectacular. They have so many jack-o'-lanterns. Of course you saw how beautiful it is at Christmas in Dollywood.
Dollywood is an amazing place to go. Gatlinburg and Pigeon Forge are a lot of fun and beautiful too! Dollywood's roller coasters are the best! Wild Eagle is one of the best! Thanks for taking us along!

Dollywood is by far one of my favorite parks! The food, the rides, the entertainment! Its all way above par for a regnal theme park. Great video!

Oh wow I actually cried watching this one. So many wonderful memories. My grandparents took me to Dollywood twice a year every year until I was in high school and my papa you’ll ride every ride. I miss them both so much and watching you walk those same paths brought out all the emotions! I’m so glad you enjoyed yourself. I could almost smell the scents in the park! Thank you for that nostalgia trip.

That pie! Yum! Fun fact, Dippin Dots was invented by a super nice guy outside of Lexington Kentucky by accident on his farm in the 1980s. I worked in their 1st and only store in Lexington. He found lower overhead by selling in the amusement parks.
Welcome to our area of the woods. We live two hours away from here and vacation a lot in pigeon forge. My aunt and uncle moved there about 4 years and they love it. Haven’t gotten to watch all of the videos yet. But I so hope y’all enjoyed your visit! ♥️♥️♥️ and safe travels home you two!
Love how Dev just calls all people who work at the theme parks cast members...I feel like that is his DCP training and working coming out. I am the same way I call anyone who works at a theme park cast members, I used to work for Disney part of the DCP 2015 !!!!!!!

Went to Dollywood for the first time over Independence Day weekend. I enjoyed it. Clean park and friendly employees. Some legit coasters too!

Dev, my family and I were there 2 years ago. There is not a bad meal in that park.
We enjoyed it the cheese steak,, pulled pork,hotdogs crazyand taters everyone is so laid-back. Great Times....Great video going need to get back...I am Still Disney to Heart.

Great video, Dollywood is one of my favorites parks. It really reminds me of a hillbilly version of Disney. Amazing theming with really top notch service. My favorite food there is the cinnamon bread. Make sure to get it from the Grist Mill where it is fresh and hot.

Now, we live here in orlando and go to disney all the time. I'm super happy about that and it never gets old, but lately i've been wanting to go back to the mountains!

When I saw on your Instagram when you were at Dollywood, I was actually in Pigeon Forge that same evening! I was in Knoxville and made a day trip out to the area! Unfortunately I didn’t have time to go Dollywood but I did go on the Jurassic Jungle Boat Ride following the advice of @AdamTheWoo!
I've never been to Dollywood before but now I'm dying to go! That place looks awesome and right off the bat, that bakery is amazing! I'm a sucker for a good apple pie but that thing was just bananas! lol I'm already excited to see day 2!!
