When I listen to this I visualise a long drone shot of an endless overpopulated slum, with hundreds of grief-stricken families begging for a better life. Beautiful, but equally heartbreaking.
all the petrified and poisonous self loathing and crippling doubt so perfectly carved down to a point so fine that it pierces your dying soul later by soul ripping layer until finally you hit a vein, theres some bleeding and then the pain stops.....
I listened to this song while I watched my hamster die about a month after this soundtrack came out. Now every time I hear this song I get tons of memories of that hamster and I get choked up every time. She was the sweetest little thing. RIP Nugget

So true. I've been a huge fan of the Metroid soundtracks, though I have not played the Prime games. Super Metroid is in my top 2 video game soundtracks of all time. The atmosphere it creates, and how just pulls you in to its world was/is something to behold. It definitely left its mark on me.

This started from autoplay and I thought I was listening to music from a Metroid game.
So true. I've been a huge fan of the Metroid soundtracks, though I have not played the Prime games. Super Metroid is in my top 2 video game soundtracks of all time. The atmosphere it creates, and how just pulls you in to its world was/is something to behold. It definitely left its mark on me.
