I have the 15 PRO max and 9 Pro XL and you can't get a cigarette paper between them IMHO. Both really excellent phones. I think the devfelopment of their AI features over the next 12 months will be critical for them. Please Apple/Google/Samsung don't screw it up!
I have the 16 pro and these phones are not small to me. Phones have gotten so big that normal size phones seem small. I believe the 16 pro is the perfect size.
I’m currently using the iPhone 16 Pro Max, and I’m absolutely loving it! The camera quality is top-notch, and the user interface is incredibly intuitive. I recently upgraded from the iPhone 13, and I can confidently say that the iPhone 16 Pro Max is a significant improvement. While I still appreciate the Pixel’s camera capabilities, I’ve noticed a slight slowdown in the OS updates compared to Android. However, Apple is actively incorporating Android features into iOS, which has made me quite fond of the operating system.
2024, when a 6"+ phone is "small". I had to buy a phone this year, I thought it was small, but it's the biggest phone I have ever owned. And the first I got a case for in my life. My previous phone I used 7+ years without a case. The flip one before that I used for 10 years. My new phone is the first one that I've had that doesn't have a remove-able battery. At least it still has a 3.5mm (1/8") audio jack.
I'm old enough to remember when Apple used to lock features like OIS, higher zoom and more RAM behind the Plus/Max-sized iPhones. I'm glad these days are over.
From 6.5 to 6.7 to 6.9, things are getting wayyyy outta hand. Specially iPhones are still not as smooth with one hand accessibility compared to Android. Personally, I believe the form factor of XS Max, or 11 Pro Max should have been the plateau. That size was perfect as a pro max. And yes, they could have reduced the bezel for an extra millimeter too. 16 Pro Max feels like a brick.
I’ve been saying for a while now that current sizes are getting too big, at this point I don’t think it should go further. Instead, I want companies to try and hit phone sizes for everyone. Specifically in Apples case I’ve suggested formatting the iPhone lineup to be similar to the iPad and MacBook lines. My ideal lineup if we have to keep the current sizes would be: iPhone & iPhone Plus: 5.9 & 6.5 iPhone Air & Air Plus: 6.1 & 6.7 iPhone Pro & Pro Max: 6.3 & 6.9 iPhone Mini: 5.4 (follows iPad Mini Release cycle)
@@MarcoBeSomething Thats wayy too much launches for the iphone. I would rather say to reduce their form factor size and footprint. Especially in the pro max. Maybe a 6.8 inch with reduced bezel like the 16 pro max, so the form factor stays like the 15 pro max and call it the end for the foreseeable future.
@@mohimrahman2889 I just don’t see them shrinking it because they made it a point of emphasis for their buyers. I suggested the lineup because I think having a regular and a big phone at each consumer level is important, the mini being as niche it is would be a nice release to have every so often.
Wym? these are Normal sized phones... Had the 16 pro for 3 months and switched to the Pixel 9 Pro. I can tell you that the Pixel feels more manageable in hand than the iPhone and feels way more premium. The iPhones new camera control button is useless. Apple's AI promise and roll out is truly a display of how they are falling behind. The iphone 16 pro feels like it shouldve been called 15S. It also gets really hot when multitasking and battery life is terrible. Pixel 9 Pro ftw
Basically, they're both great phones with absolute minimal differences. And finally, if you're on the apple "eco-system" get the iPhone. If you're on Android, get a Pixel. You're very welcome for saving you 17 min..
