Hard to believe that the parents allowed their daughter to be buried alive without protesting at all. The children witnessing their mother being buried alive was in bad taste. The children did not protest or cry out loud at seeing this is also hard to believe

Nothing hard to believe, the kids must be knowing their father's ruthless behaviour becoz when she says he will kill him, the boy accepted easily. Also everyone is scared of strong, overbearing, criminal behaving individuals, to top it all he 8s the revered son- in- law. Afterall GAIRAT ki baat hai. Funny how it applies on in case of female, never the male

Oh the ending... We knew almost everything but never expected this. The way she walks in the grave knowing that if she said anything her son would be here instead of her... Only a mother can do this for her kids. ❤ In the end it all came together beautifully...

Honestly nowadays you can expect anything from kids , even if the kid didn't know the meaning of what he was doing , mom knew that for dad would do the same thing to his son in the name of ghairat and izzat as her parents are doing to her. It was a smart ending. And see the father or the inspector never knew about those letters so moms sacrifice was not a waste i guess.

I can not believe what they showed in this drama,. A 10-year-old having feelings for an adult man, what are we trying to do, make it a norm in society. My 10-year-old son was asking me what does it mean when the boy is saying he loves the teacher and why is the mother saying it is wrong. I live in the US & even here this would be rated R because they do not want to promote that a 10 year old has inappropriate feeling for a adult man.

Why would you watch any drama with a kid? There are so many concepts in dramas which cannot be understood by kids at that age. You are just focusing on one concept portrayed in this drama. What about the kid watching the scene of Ahmad getting shot in the forehead? What impact that has on your kid’s mind? What about Noor’s character stepping into the grave and mud getting thrown on her? What impact does it have on your kid’s mind? What about the scenes between Malik Hayat and Mehru? What does your kid learn after watching that? These are just few examples. Please be careful of what sort of content you expose your children to. Dramas are made for adult audiences, not for kids. Kids should be watching age appropriate content made specifically for them. Don’t make your kid watching anything. You never know how it impacts them and what kind of things they learn after watching.

This thriller brought chills down my spine! Mother chose to die & save her son is convincing but her mother stood there & watched her daughter get buried alive is a bit difficult to digest! Son stood quietly & watched, a reaction from the child would have made a bigger impact!! Saba’s character, a cold hearted snake was point on! Green bridal dress portrayed the bride’s demonic streaks! Overall, hats off to the entire team of this project!!👏👏

I followed this drama for the exceptional direction and production. BUT the ending was so disappointing. Whyy needlessly drag a kid into all this?? And then heavily implying that a child "loves" his male teacher inappropriately?? This twist left a sour taste in the mouth.
They couldve shown Saba Qamar making that I love you card and slipping it into the teacher's bag. It would've added some weight to the story. Gand ghol dia inho ne end pe 😢

the male attraction part is very common in our society so it was highlighted.. this happens, we should take proper care of our kids. and this was essential kx otherwise why would a mother sacrifice herself for her kid and die on a lame blame

This is the first ever series/ serial I watched from #ExpressTV ! What a masterpiece whatt a show ! We need suchlike thrillers more to end the monopoly of all those stereotypical soap dramas telecast by Geo and other channels !
The story all through was predictable but the performances stood out.
The hatred in saba's eyes makes you hate her so much. This woman portrays a negative character so convincingly that you literally want to hit her😊
That's how phenomenal her act is, all of them sheer ruthless.
Overall, the mini series kept us hooked till the end.
Another beautifully crafted Pakistani drama. They have always have a twist in the end that gives you a punch in your heart and at the same time keeps you gripped from the beginning to the end. Only 6 episodes but excellent. Saba Qamar is always brilliant in these roles . Her performance in Cheekh and Fraud was also good to watch. Bollywood is busy offering us crap except the recent movie Shaitan and Pakistani dramas are getting even better by the day.

1. Couldn't the blind parents see how Gulmahar was instigating Hayat to kill the tutor? Where was their gairat then about how close Gulmahar is to Hayat and what kind of sentences she is uttering?
2. Parents watching the daughter being buried alive? Impossible to digest.
3. Smelly cherry on an already rotten cake, dragging a 10 y/o boy? How disgusting. My students have also written I love you many times. So? The female students love me in "that" way?
4. Who the hell says tumhara baap qatal kardega to a child instead of explaining and counseling?
5. It is absolutely no case of a mother saving her son. Hayat would have ultimately be doing so because he wanted to marry Gulmahar.

Idk why sarmad khoosat is always a part of some LGBTQ stuff. In this series, they brought it up anyways. And if Ahmad handed over the letter to GulNoor then how did the letter end up in Ahmad's house where police found the letter. I'd say directorial flaw.

I gotta admit, GUNAH's climax totally outdid me! What a bold move from Pakistani drama to tackle such a story. A kid falling for his male teacher-it's not about age, it's a scientific fact that feelings can starts emerging at that age. It's disheartening to see some comments being so harsh and disgusted; we should be sensitive when it comes to a child's emotions. The mother's reaction was out of concern, and her struggle was relatable. Keep the religion out of it, be a human first, when you start judging.
Sure, there were some mistakes, and the story might have dragged a bit, but let's take a moment to applaud the director, the writer, and the fantastic cast who fearlessly took on this project. Rabia Butt, Sarmad Khoosat, Saba Qamar, Juggun Kazim, Usman Chaudhry, Faiz Chauhan, Fahad Hashmi-each one of you deserve a round of applause. Saying YES to this series in Pakistan is a huge deal, and you guys nailed it!
Congratulations to everyone involved; I hope this series gets all the attention it truly deserves. Keep shining! 🌟

The end wasn’t as great as expected- they gave the unnecessary angle of a boy student writing a “ I LOVE YOU AHMED” note. More graceful end could have brought even greater height to the drama.

What a twist at the end. Every department did so well on this series. Acting, Music, Story telling, Editing, Camera.. everything was so perfect.
2:44- what a change in background music and those smiling expressions with tearful eyes ofSaba Qamar when Hayat Malik says “ hum apni ek nai zindagi shuru karenge! “ both the actors are masters of their craft!❤ and in the background thunders ! Kamaal sirf kamaal!
It's amazing how Pakistani content creators have now galvanized into action; looking forward to more creativity... However, it does make me uneasy how the whole 'LGBTQ' phenomenon is stealthily creeping into Pakistani narratives. Even though, it's extremely nuanced and subtle, and not there in your face, it is being normalised! I hope people are able to see how these ideas are being pitched in the shadows of the main themes...
They've come with this agenda now, with subtle theme becz our public is such a fool.
So they should all leave the country and go live overseas because if they stay they are doomed right?

Ev one is praising but lots of unexpected and unbelievable moments e.g
1. The same yellow letter was again present in Ahmad's stuff when in reality it was in Ahmad's hand when killed.
2. How come The old woman was watching the whole crime scene? No guards where there. Impossible.
3. The boy said piar kerna koi jurm nahi which is such a filmi line to utter from a young kid.
4. jugan and Ahmad remained alone for such long time in the room while their conversation was quite small.First effort shd have been from inside the room to open the door or who locked the door from outside while Ahmad was telling abt some odd behavior of the kid.This shd have been the stance. Total Silence means acceptance.
5. She went into grave by herself. Someone shd have pushed her to make it more believable and real.
6. The kid shd have shown crying hysterically instead he was standing normally.
She went into grave becuase she was in utter shock ,hee family won’t support her and she wanted to save her son so decided to be buried alive .For your last concern , I think parents of gul noor ,Malik hayat ,Gul meher and her kids all were gunah gar at some point so they were Ruth less and insensitive to the core

I watched this show coz of it's cast but the ending was so weird and bad.. i wish they had shown some other reason of 2 murders.. n in this case the parents could be shown accepting their children... i can't accept for such a reason, a mother gave her life...

Such a helpless mother they portray who chose to die and left her son in the world with the desires he had, rather than stay alive and fight for it, should have forced her husband to listen to her. She died without knowing the fact about her husband's and sister's affair..the sons' reaction was also unrealistic
Rabia Butt was star of the show and obviously the message on this drama is about the idea of 'Gunnah'. The affair between the husband and his sister in law, the murder of the teacher and the wife or the feelings the the son had for the teacher. Quite clearly, Sarmad Khoosat and others in the Pakistani entertainment industry are trying to open a discussion about homosexuality and in other instances gender ideology and trans issues. Not just open a discussion but very subtley in this case criticise, Islamic teachings and beliefs and in doing so are trying to subvert Islamic teachings! Sarmad Khoosats involvement in other projects, such as , 'Joyland' is another indication of this. This is being done very subtly and very cleverly so that they make all these things seem acceptable and harmless and so that people in Muslim majority countries start to accept all these issues rather than hold fast to the teachings of Islam! I for one will no longer watch anything khoosat is involved in again!

We as kids used to make cards for our favrt female teachers at school.. Especially the ones who would be lenient & wouldn't unnecessarily boss and scold us & its quite natural to have more admiration for such mentors.. What's the big deal in this?? Portraying it another way, that too incase of a kid?? Seriously In this drama that student is a "mere kid".. One doesn't even fully understand different forms of love and their meaning at such a tender age & is processing things & learning from environment and surrounding.
The mother could have simply discussed it with the kid. It was overly dramatized.. In my opinion it was needlessly sensationalized. Too many loopholes here.

Generally speaking, nowadays parents mostly leave children with maids & babysitters etc, and not everyone can be trusted. May be his good and bad touch concepts weren't clear..and he simply needed understanding and direction.
Seriously.. This last episode ruined the entire plot, which was pretty good prior to that.
This 6 episode series could be a movie because the story is too much twisted and amazing

All are praising this drama on the other hand they have successfully injected the audience with the concept of homosexuality. Abhi start hy ahista ahista homosexuality ki intensity brhayngy. What was the concept of showing this as the turning point of the story. To all the audience be mindful abhi roklo isko instead they will transfer whole propanganda to your kids

This love is not just a normal attachment of a student to teacher as he touches inappropriately also writes letters and said piar krna jurm hy kia? Does this makes ny sense no! But let me tell you one thing. If you want to introduce an idea in a culture where this idea is not promoted you can use tolerance technique. In this technique you will introduce the idea on a lighter note so audience will slowly intake the idea and it will not even feel what actually happened. Similarly they want to introduce lgbtq in our islamic country but they cant introduce it wholesome. They are creating tolerance. Look carefully, why a male child will fell in love with a male teacher? Does a child born with homosexuality? No! But they potrayed role with sympathy so that audience can take a lighter dose of the concept
