Was there last year. Skip the driver was awesome. Took to Negril and around. Didn't see any sea urchins. One stingray and lots of jellyfish. Great resort and staff.❤ Going back next month.

We will be going to Jamaica for the fifth time from the UK since I retired We stay and the riu Negril at bloody bay which has a great beech I love snorkel in warm waters and looking at the colour full fish We have been to a few places are the world but Jamaica is now becom are second home
My husband and I were there in December 2019. WE LOVE THIS HOTEL! We're planning to take the whole family Summer '24. I've been reading reviews dated after 2020 and wasn't seeing what we experienced... comments about bath linens not being available as needed. This video does show what we experienced, and we would love to stay there again. (any challenges with them replenishing towels & wash clothes during your stay?)

I travel 3 to 4 times a year. I have never been to a hotel or resort where tourists don't play the towel/chair game first thing in the morning. I think it's just a fact of life, even 5 star.
Um no its not. Some people try to do this but many resorts will have the staff remove the towels. It's super selfish to put your towel on chair for hours and not use the chair. If you need to leave the beach you give up your chair.
@@StrangeRebel Um ya it is. I've been to at least 30 resorts 3 to 5 star. I've seen this practice at 100% of them. Never, ever once saw a staff member remove belongings. Although they should, because they threaten that but never do. Rule abiding tourists like myself are robbed of a good seat because of those greedy thoughtless people who hoard.

Great video. This is exactly what I was looking for! I was scoping out this hotel specifically but it's hard to get a feel for the size and parts of the hotel from just photos online.

I went to that same place before it has a/c rooms and it has a four feet deep and two feet deep pools

Love the video brother , i am a pescatarian. I haven't ate chicken , beef or pork son 4 years only seafood . Did you see any seafood options at breakfast , lunch or dinner ?

Love the resorts in Jamaica 🇯🇲 but that one seems abit too boring where’s the entertainment. it’s just not lively enough but it looks nice! Thanks for sharing!
The fact that all the beach lounge chairs are taken before 8:00 a.m. turns me completely off about this resort. There are resorts which will remove your towels if you are not there. Reserving a lounge chair and then not using it while you are eating your breakfast should be controlled by the hotel/ pool staff. I would not go here for this reason alone.

You covered all main areas well. Stayed there 5 years ago on the 4th floor and views were spectacular! There was a lounge area at the end of the hallway on the 5th floor I think with awesome views of Montego Bay. Staff were so friendly and nice! I’d stay there again but, so many other places are good too! Jamaica has an awesome vibe 🇯🇲

Just got back home after week there,I would not recommend this hotel to anyone it was the worst stay of all the trips we have been on. No room safe for two days ,food was terrible, no towels were replaced when they removed the used ones , running out of beer , some hard liquor,slush mix and ice on a daily basis. Alacarte restaurant closed with out telling people that had reservations and only to return to the main dining room to no food as well. Most of the staff are very rude as well.

I’m not done watching the video. I know you mentioned that there’s eggs and cereal I’m hoping the food at this resort is not all just food that we can get anywhere like that. I hope it’s fresh fruit and more Jamaican style food at the resort. We’re hoping that we will be able to eat more Jamaican food or Jamaican breakfast Jamaican dinners??? Can you please let me know 🥰
They do have Jamaican food but cater to westerners

thanks for this! I am returning to this hotel in 2 weeks, glad to see it's still doing great hospitality wise. and yes on my last visit i got stung by a jelly fish whilst lounging in the shallow part, I ran to the on site drs haha
Sorry to hear about the jelly. My wife said she thinks she saw one but neither of us got stung and we swam everyday. I guess we just lucked out

Did you find a decent supermarket around there with liquor/beer?
There was a small store across the street from the hotel that had good prices.
But by all your booze at the airport, so much cheaper.

I wanna go but the food comments from this and other videos giving me second thoughts. Smh.

What a awesome place to visit. I've watch a few videos of this trip. I would love to try some local fruits.and dishes. Is Jamaica shops expensive? Is it safe to for a female to do shopping.on their own? Looks like your having a blast. Looks inviting. Maybe I'll have to put this on my bucket list. Have you tried ackee? Have a awesome time can't wait to see the next videos.

It would be interesting to find out it that’s just the way they spell it.
Placing a towel on a chair and then leaving is a selfish and unfair practice. If you do this and leave your chair unattended for hours at a time, I will remove your towel!!

Good video but personally just came back and was one of the worst hotels I've ever stayed at. Rude staff , not enough sun loungers, same food pork and chicken for every meal just so disappointed

Great video Ken, you really did the place justice with your video, you're only the second person I've seen do such a great video on the place, every other video we've watched is garbage. Me and the wife are planning this resort next year and your video is what warmed her up to decameron cornwall beach. Lol I told her, babe before you frown on the place watch Ken's videos on it cause you'll get a honest look at the place!!
